Horrible! Doctor cannot speak for hisself! He said okay that he would do a treatment then the tech came in and said that "she" would not do it. She wasnt the doctor! She was a helper that probably never even attended any kind of schooling. He went to school for 7+ years, and some wanna be doctor wants to try and run the show saying that she refuses to do it. Come here if you want someone that has no schooling telling you the best thing to do for your animal. My dog got sent home in pain, because "she" (being the tech) refused to do something because it was painful even though it would 100% relieve her from her pain. Horrible place, my dogs nor my worst enemy will ever be recommended to come here. I also want to add on that I have been a loyal customer for 7+ years, but this was the first treatment I have had to come to them for, other times were just vaccines and nail clippings. My 3 dogs will never return here! They will go somewhere where they are not sent home in pain. Updated**** just went to another vet. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with my dogs nail! She has a cut between her "nails". Paid $60 at another clinic for the right treatment compared to the $270 Petvax tried to get me to spend for the wrong treatment that wouldve made my dog lose her whole nail for no reason at all! All they want is your money as you can tell. Not being able to find a cut that another doctor found in 1 minute, just shows that the doctor/techs at Petvax on Raines are just to lazy to actually look for the correct diagnosis.

We have a 12 yr old King Charles Spaniel. She is Blind. She is Deaf. She walks with obvious pain. She has labored breathing. She is incontinent. She often loses control of her bowels. We make the difficult decision to euthanize. Our family says goodbye to her. My wife takes her to Petvax on Raines. Even with all of the above symptoms and her advanced age they refused to euthanize her. Instead they said that she must undergo $500 of tests and must be treated to the tune of $100/month in drugs and for what? Will she see? No. Will She hear? No. Wil she walk? - Only slightly better. She is a 12 year old, very sick, very old dog and Petvax is more worried about making money off of her suffering than doing what is right. No sale. Stay FAR away from this place.

Be careful this location will try to prescribe medicine your pet does not need. They recently told a friend of mine her dog was running a fever of 105.7. The normal temperature of a dog is 99 to 105.5. They wanted to give the puppy unnecessary medicine for .2 over the norm. They checked the puppy a second time and it was normal. Also, another friend of mine took her yorkie there and they told her the puppy needs eye drops for an eye discharge. It turns out the puppy just needed its eyes wiped from a small mucus build up during nap time. You should not have to pay for services and get "nickel and dimed". Just be honestn

My puppy Duke had lost a lot of weight he got his first set of shots but the Veterinarian didnt tell me to come back now unstand that this was my first puppy they didnt tell he needed to come back in three weeks for his second shots,bye this time he was four months,when I did bring him back he was throwing up he had lost all of his weight they kook no blood test gave him a rectro exam and gave him some medicine that didnt work l wouldnt tell anyone to go there with they Dogs or Cats maybe because were in a Black neighborhood that they just dont care about us or our pets

The staff is so helpful and loving. They took great care of our two sick barn kittens when we first rescued them. Two and a half years later Pet Vax is still taking care of our kitties. The vaccination prices cant be beat and their quality of wellness care is above par. Weve been to two of their four locations and both facilities are clean and accommodating.

I been taking my baby to them for 4 years. Bad service and customer service front desk bad. My baby been biting her paws for 2 years they claim they dont know whats wrong after I paid $110 for medicine that didnt work. Im going to try Banfield because Im very unsatisfied with their service. Thank you was a loyal customer.

We were a walk in. We got two of our dogs updated on their shots. There was no wait time, the prices are great, and the staff was amazing! I love the fact that they treated them like our "babies" instead of just dogs. I highly recommend them. We will be returning to them for any future needs for our fur babies.

This location always handle my dogs with the care they require. I have 5 pitbulls and they love the vet. One is even aggressive with strangers and other dogs but they never have a problem or cant solve it.
