This POST is by DONNA MALONE HAMILTON regarding the services I received from Vision Source in January 2016. I had decided after 44 years of wearing glasses I would like to order a pair of prescriptive sunglasses. I love the sunglasses. The Glasses were NOT the problem. Also, let me state that I have been a patient of Vision Source for close to 25 years. After the New Year and my HFSA was re-started I made appointment to have my eyes checked and new sunglasses ordered. I was told the glasses would be ready in 10 business days. Two full weeks came and went and I decided to give VS a call to find out when I could come in to pick the sunglasses. The glasses were not in, so I was told the VS employee would call the Lab and found out when the glasses would be coming to their office. No returned phone call. I waited a day or two and called again only to report that the glasses were NOT ready because the Lab needed to know if I wanted this grey finish or black finish on glasses, plus UV treatment. My choice on the tint color has always been the grey tint which was on the sample pair I viewed and tried on. then seems there was another problem. I called management I was told she would call me back to let me know when the glasses would be in. She did not call me back, but another VS employee and would be 3 more days. After 18 business days (3.5 full weeks). I was called went in and picked up my glasses. I never complained I just did not understand why the proper expectations were NOT set, were NOT followed up. Sad as it may be most likely I will change to VisionWorks, as my close friend got two new pairs of glasses for the price I paid...$450.00+ plus exam, TT&L.. somewhere between $750-800.00 total. WOW!

Ok Ill say it - I actually enjoyed my visit!! I was a bit nervous - wondering if I would be told something I didnt want to hear or didnt know already. The minute we walked in the door, it felt like a very comfortable environment to me. We were greeted promptly and then waited for the tech to bring me back to the exam rooms. We had to wait a little bit but it wasnt too bad and it actually gave us an opportunity to meet Byron in The eyeglasses dept. I knew I was going to be getting some and since Im a tough fit, it was nice to get his help and narrow down to a few frames. Alyssa came to get me and start the tests. She was fun and attentive. Explained everything and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Joking with her helped me feel relaxed. Shes been there a long time which is very reassuring. Very good at her job. Then Dr. Kell came in to start the exams. Professional, but very approachable and helped me understand what my issues potentially may be. I also liked that he was very complimentary when he liked what he saw. That made me feel good and optimistic. He was very pleasant and made it a very positive experience. I then went back to visit Byron about the glasses. Very good at his job as well and personable. Finally we checked out with Angela. She explained next steps very well and made follow up and referral info easy to understand. I dont have to do anything! She is making an appt for me to see another Doctor and will make all those arrangements. I would highly recommend vision source in general but specifically the northpark plaza location in kingwood.

I had a wonderful experience at Vision Source North Park!! Dr. Wade Ellisor and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable! From the moment I walked through the doors, until the time I left. The office is beautiful and they use the latest state of the art technology. Dr. Ellisor was very personable and explained everything to me. They had a wide selection of all the latest frames, I found a pair I love as well as new contacts. Have definitely found an optometrist for the whole family!!!

As always, Vision Source Kingwood has taken it to the next level with Vision Source Northpark. Always there to help and answer questions. Patient as saints with an exuberant 6 year old, and always considerate of your time. Thanks you for making the 6 years old glasses by the afternoon, she was super excited! Plus having time for 2 in your schedule in less then a days notices was so helpful for this multi-tasker who forgets a lot.

Bought a new pair of glasses here. Overall a good, helpful experience. Im removing a star because the sales assistant didnt go over my lens options. The result was an initial pair of glasses that needed to be redone. I contacted Byron long-distance from out-of-state, and he helped me through the process of sending the glasses back for replacements, which are problem-free. Id do business with them again, certainly.

This was my first experience at Vision Source. I loved it! From check-in all the way to picking out my frames was wonderful. Byron in the frame department was great! He helped me pick my glasses out and explained every cost and answered any question I had. Dr. Danz was very nice and courteous. Ive already scheduled my daughters exam. Thank you very much for a great experience!

Great staff and awesome service! Byron Jackson and Dr. Ellisor Wade had me in and out in less than an hour and they were perfect gentlemen! Answered any and all questions i had, were very curteous(as was eveyone there) and made me grateful i chose this location yet again! Keep it up guys and gals! Yall are perfect as always!

Byron Jackson was the Optician who worked with me today to select new glasses. He was very nice and so patient because I have a hard time picking out the right frames. It was a pleasure to work with him and all of the staff there. I would definitely recommend my friends go there.

Great service, friendly, helpful, and quick! Byron helped me right away with finding a pair of frames close to and then even better than the old style I loved. He also used two methods to measure my eye placement in the frames so the focus points would be perfect. Thanks!!!

This was my first time at this location. The staff was so friendly and helpful; from the time I walked in, through the exams and getting fit for glasses. The staff and doctors take their time with you and dont make you feel rushed. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I had a very short wait. They seemed to have plenty of staff on hand to handle appointments and glasses. I knew the type of glasses I wanted and they didnt not carry them but found them online and ordered them for me. Very impressed.
