I had a terrible experience with Dr Frazee. I went to see him with some questions and every time I started to ask, he would literally SHUSH me. I figured I would ask when he gave me a chance. Well, he dropped a bomb on me that I had an ulcer on my RIGHT cornea and needed a very aggressive medication plan with some hard to find medicine. (Over 50 drops during the next 24 hours) then come see him first thing next morning in Lewisville. It made me forget about my questions I came to have answered. I couldnt get the medicine he asked me to use because insurance needed prior authorization, which even after 4 hours of phone calls with his office and the insurance we could not get arranged. I took the appointment the next morning anyway. The first thing he says is if I have crappy insurance I should buy the $200 medicine from my own pocket. He proceeded to tell me my LEFT Cornea looks to be fine. I started to talk and he SHUSHED me again. I finally spoke up angrily that he keeps shushing me when I start to ask a question and it was my RIGHT eye that supposedly had the ulcer. Thank goodness, I didnt buy the medicine and that there was nothing wrong with my eye. I told him I was very upset at the way I had been treated and inconvenience he had caused me. He blamed it on stress due to a new computer system, he was implementing. Whatever!! I will never go back to him!!

I love Dr. Frazee - even though I only see him once a year. Ill be 100% bummed when he retires. After reading some of the reviews about him being rude and shushing patients, I felt compelled to give my 2¢. Dr Frazee might come off as rude, but he is not. He is passionate about his craft. While performing the examination, he is hyper focused and dictates findings to a member of his staff, so I can understand why one would get shushed during this time. You probably do not want incorrect information in your record because it was misheard. Id jot down my notes ahead of time and ask at the end of the exam. Heck, I was asked to uncross my legs on my first visit many years ago - and have never done it since! I even sit with perfect posture for extra measure haha!

Dr. Frazee is an awesome Dr. with a passion for patient care. He is thorough and was able to diagnose/treat what was a very serious eye condition (I thought something was stuck in my eye. He found a way different problem) and got me on the road to recovery very quickly and I am so thankful to him. I am very pleased with his staff for taking a last min appt. as I just started feeling the symptoms that morning and they squeezed me in right away as I was in so much distress. As an added benefit he plays great music while waiting for your appt. I HIGHLY recommend this Dr. for any of your eye care needs. To the staff and of course Dr. Frazee thank you so much. I will not "see" any other Dr because of my awesome experience.

Ive been going to Dr. Frazee for six years now. I first went with awful blurry vision which turned out to be a very serious condition, as well as needing trifocals (which I love). Because of him, I found help for a deep-seated metabolic problem which I was then able to get help for. Dr. Frazee is a bit cold unless YOU make the first conversation. I think its just his way of giving you your privacy. As a half-Hispanic, I understand this, and will say to Ale Lopez that you cant expect white people to understand Hispanic ways. I live in the middle of both cultures daily, and have learned to be two people in some ways. So give the doc another chance, because he is amazing as a doctor, if not as a conversationalist.

Dr. Frazee is great, but needs better appointment staff. This is the second time Ive come in for an appointment and I had the wrong date. I go to many Dr.s and I never get the dates/times wrong I log them in my phone while talking to the person. For this to happen twice, I feel that something is wrong on their end. Today really was inconvenient because it was the last day of my insurance. Now if I want to get my annual appointment (which is required for me to get my RA medicine) I will have to pay out of pocket, cause I will have to meet my deductible again first. That and I now live in Aubrey 30 min away! Not happy.

Dr. Frazee is my favorite ophthalmologist! You dont hear that statement much :-) Hes down to earth, always correct in his diagnoses, and always provides simple, real instructions to follow. His practice follows the basic rule of Do Good For The Patient. The costs are reasonable, especially for glasses purchased in his in-office shop. Im so bummed Im moving and wont be able to see him anymore, but I will be searching for someone to try and hit the bar hes set.

Dr. Frazee is the best Dr. of ANY specialty that I have ever had. I have never had any trouble getting in to see him, and he always makes sure that as a patient, I clearly understand the treatment regimen so as to have a positive outcome. I work in healthcare and I know the difference between a Dr. that listens and cares, and those that do not.

Awesome staff. But the Dr Frazee is horrible, really rude. I dont know what is his problem, he makes you feel, he is doing you a favor for seeing you.

Dr Frazees office was courteous, had the usual waiting time. Dr. Frazee himself was easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Happy with the service.

He is a good doctor but for every follow up check up he charged $50 which is little hard to pay for a middle class families
