Key fact - I am terrified of dental procedures and have a healthy distrust for prognosis that I am unable to see the evidence. Tina, Olivia, and Dr. Jang were extremely professional and exuded a caring attitude. Dr. Jang took the time to walk me through the prognosis and the treatment options thoroughly (without my prompting), including short videos of the procedures. The office is very clean, the staff warm and competent, the equipment utilized is up to date, and Dr. Jang is very knowledgeable and strives to make sure you understand the prognosis and procedures. Overall a great experience and I would defiantly recommend. Visit details: I am a new patient with Dr Jang and the only reason I finally went to see a dentist is because I have been experiencing pain and after a week it was too much. Yes, a week - please see "key fact" above. The moment I walked in to the office I was put at ease by his receptionist Tina who made the paperwork as easy as possible. Next I was called back by Olivia who again was a very calming presence and who took care of taking the necessary x-rays and prepping me for the examination. Next up was Dr. Jang who performed an exam and walked me through a very detailed prognosis and treatment options including detailed analysis of the x-rays and 3D images utilized. Though Dr. Jang was unable to fix the issue I am having due to the specialized tools needed - re treatment of a root canal - he still walked me through a very thorough video and referred me to a well reviewed colleague who I will be meeting with to perform the procedure. Due to my profession, my schedule is very deadline driven. With that in mind Tina called the specialist and worked with them to get me in as soon as possible and within my crazy schedule. All in all it was a great experience and I am thinking that just maybe I can be a responsible adult and get my cleanings more than once a year with this calming and knowledgeable team!

I was a patient for a few years but have to update my review now that I am finally seeing another dentist and finally have the billing taken care of. I do like Dr. Jang but the practice is lacking. Make sure you are aware of how long ago youve been to the dentist. They booked me just shy of my 6 months and I was personally charged for everything (it was an x-ray visit!) when my insurance carrier denied the claim. There is a CONSTANT change of staff, there was a new person every time I called or went for awhile there. The gental, friendly hygenist that I started going to is no longer there. I got invisalign through this dentist and it was fine except for the billing. I was told I didnt owe anything else and then an entire YEAR later I get this highlighted bill stating I was overdue and owed over $700. Turns out they were required to submit more info to my insurance carrier but the insurance carrier didnt get it. Im sure its not uncommon for this to happen but feel this took way too long to resolve. I shouldnt have to call multiple times just to get a call back, they arent proactive about a thing. I cant tell you how close I was to paying $700 to just get it over with BUT couldnt even get someone on the phone to make a payment. I just dont understand why I would be given a bill for $700 before they submitted it to my carrier. My carrier ended up paying, too. I am also disappointed that the dentist seemed pretty opposed any retainer other than the invisalign brand. I inquired about options twice and he he only wanted to talk about the Invisalign brand and told me to "think about it." Its more expensive considering theyre only good for a year but I dont want to replace $700 every year and they stretch out, putting in a new set of retainers after 3 months made me feel like I was in braces all over again. In my opinion, its just not worth it.

Pinnacle Dental is the best Dental in West Plano. I would rate this place a million stars or more if I could. Once entering i was welcomed so nicely by Georgia who is the front desk lady, she even asked us if we wanted water or coffee etc, really nice and very descriptive. Once I got called to go in, Olivia was the person who took my X-rays and got me set up for Dr. Jang to start evaluating me for the regular check up and cleaning, WOW WOW if I were the Doctor I would give Olivia a raise, Omg nicest person ever and nicest dental assistant Ive ever met. She was so nice, respectful took her time and was very caring and also learn from her why when I get X-rays and they insert a thing and in my mouth it hurts and its because I have a bone which is genetic and it bothers me when I only get X-rays. No one had ever told me that and I thank Olivia for explaining it to me. Now Dr.Jang, he was the first dentist who took 30 min only talking and explaining things to me, when other doctors just took 5 min and I was done, Dr.Jang is a very nice and descriptible person who makes sure, you understand what he is going to do to your teeth and also asks you, if u have any concern or anything like that best dentist. I was set and all done with my bright cleaned smile and my last step was my financial process. Tina who is the financial administrator, was very nice and gave me a lot of options in order to do payments, They were the best and never ever will change to another doctor. -Jose Cruz

We recently moved to Plano, so I found Pinnacle Dental through google and it is very close to our place. Customer Service was great when I called in to set up the appointment for my husband. I talked to Dr. Jang and he sounds pleasant, I was hoping that he could be our Dentist from now on. My husbands appointment came first and my review is based on his appointment. My husband told me that he had a good experience with the staff and he likes the place after the visit, but then he told me that he need a Root Plane and Scaling (deep cleaning) and is scheduled for later. I was surprised because I couldnt believe that his teeth were that bad. (I have some knowledge of dental work and diagnostic). So I made another appointment for him with our previous dentist which made us drove a pretty good distance to get to. I did not mention any planning from Pinnacle Dental during the exam. I read the Xray with my dentist and observed him checking my husbands gum. I am surprised that Pinnacle dental prescribed the deep cleaning because there is no bone loss, no build-up under gum level, there is no irritation except some in the back of his teeth. I would understand and fully support if he really need the deep cleaning and it is necessary for his health. That incident took our trust away.

I have been Dr Jang’s at Pinnacle Dental patient for almost 3 years now and couldn’t be happier that I have found him. I went to numerous dentists before and had many unpleasant experiences before I found Dr Jang. He has done numerous procedures on me including root canal and crowns. I’m just so pleased with the professional work and cosmetic final effect and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for great oral care. Dr Jang always takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions. He has very positive attitude and makes me feel very relaxed. I really like the fact that he works on one patient at a time from start to finish and not like other dentists I visited in the past on multiple people, changing rooms constantly, which really delays the entire procedure. The wait time is never more than 10 min and the entire staff is very friendly and they always make me comfortable, especially Georgia Dr. Jang’s assistant. The office is new, very clean and modern. For the first 2 years I drove to Dr. Jang’s office from my home in Irving which was 25 miles away and I didn’t mind the drive as I knew I would not find better dentist anywhere closer. I now leave in Plano and have great commute to his office
