Dr. Scott was wonderful, so easy to talk to and I trusted him and his advice. An absolute delight. His staff was another story and that is why I decided to leave and get another physician. It was incredibly difficult to get an appointment unless it was several weeks in advance.I once called because I knew I had an ear ache, I was told the earliest I could be seen was in 2 weeks. I ended up going to an urgent care clinic several times because of the inability to get seen or helped. When I would call the person who took appointments always sounded so miserable and was very rude. The office manager who called me when I asked to be discharged as a patient was so unprofessional. The medical assistant who drew blood and took vitals was awful. She scolded me because I didnt have a list of my medications on hand at my last appointment. I advised her that I thought she should have a list there on her medical tablet and she went off on a rant to me. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I was a patient for 3 years and now I am elsewhere with a better staff. Good luck to future patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scott Thomas for the last seven years and I love and respect his bedside manner. He is funny, warm, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He is uber compassionate and respectful as well. I have referred several of my friends to him and they also love how they are treated and cared for. He runs his office well and I rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen, which makes me love him even more! I have many friends who complain about the time they spend sitting and waiting to see their physician for over an hour. That is not the case with Dr. Thomas! His staff is great! When I call the office in need of something, the staff takes my message and within 2 hours Ill get a call back. My experience with Alamo Family Practice has been 5 star!

TO BE HONEST AFTER TODAY I WILL BE CHANGING DOCTORS.....THIS IS MY FAR THE WORST RAN STAFF I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!BEWARE STAY AWAY REFUSED SERVICE TO MY WIFE WHO IS A CANCER PATIENT DUE TO HER MISSING ONE APP BEC A DEATH IN FAMILY!!!I WORK FOR A HUGE OIL AND GAS COMPANY WILL NOT BE REFERING ANYONE!!!!! THE FRONT OFFICE ID BE SURPRISED IF THEY EVEN HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT TODAY!!!!!!

Be careful if you have insurance, they dont pay attention to what plan you have and just want to charge whatever. They dont listen to you. The office manager actually yellled at my husband when he was trying to explain to her that they had charged the incorrect amount. Later, she called back to say she was sorry that she had charged him incorrectly. Never apologized for yelling..RUDENESS.

Always punctual. Listens to what you have to say. Can give a joke as well as take one. Wonderful Dr. for the 5 + years Ive been seeing him. As a matter of fact, I am on the phone with my new insurance company right now to make sure I can keep seeing him!
