Comprehensive Care = Results. Going regularly for adjustments at Family Chiropractic has been one of the best decisions Ive made in my adult life. OFFICE/DOCS/STAFF: The office is conveniently located off Main Street in Fairfax and has ample parking for the way the appointments are scheduled. Its nice to walk in and be greeted by a smile and see that other patients have a great rapport with the office staff. Drs. Dennis and Lisa are both extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The care provided at the office is thorough and they happily make recommendations or pay particular attentions to areas of concern you may have--whether it has to do with your general health/overall well-being or specific body/pain concerns. A comprehensive approach to chiropractic/wellness is key! Everyone at Family Chiropractic is supportive and willing to help how they can. PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: From the first visit where I had x-rays and initial consultation done by Dr. Lisa, to the thorough follow-ups and weekly adjustments, I have learned more about the benefits of chiropractic and how my body is affected by subluxations than I ever would have imagined. I feel more empowered about my health and am learning how to identify how different issues and ailments manifest themselves in specific pain and discomfort. Aside from how I feel, my midpoint check-up x-rays showed marked physical improvement in my spine and neck as well. Outside of the office, I do my prescribed stretches and exercises that aid my body in healing itself (when combined with chiropractic care). OVERALL: I have recommended Family Chiropractic of Fairfax to friends and co-workers alike, given my excellent experience there. I confidently and highly recommend the office for your chiropractic and wellness needs.

I will never use this practice again. The chiropractic services have always been mediocre at best. Their electro-stimulus equipment needs replacing and does not really work many times, at least I dont feel anything from all 4 paddles. I quit complaining about that some time ago since it was clear that it wasnt going to be remedied. The x-ray was money down the drain and the "wellness" class a complete waste of time. The last straw was today. Their billing department is completely inept. At the outset I had to straighten them out on the amount of my deductible as their staff was apparently unable to understand the explanation from Blue Cross. Then they told me that I had actually racked up "a lot of credit" and had me coming in at least once a week. Today, after weeks of not being charged, I am told that I owe a $290 balance because they misunderstood the insurance companys policy. I will not return and Ill actively recommend that people not use this facility. You can bet that if one person (me) was angry enough to post a review like this, there are probably others that didnt bother but are equally frustrated.

My midwife recommended this place because my pelvic area is hurting, I am 8 months pregnant. When I called to make the appointment I asked if they would take my insurance and they said yes! They showed me the form they wanted me to fill out online. The day of the appointment, the two desk ladies started asking questions to each other... Then they gave me extra paperwork and kept what I gave them with my insurance card... Then, one said that they dont accept my insurance, but not to worry, its $120 the first time and $60 afterwards. The other one said, "I am not sure who told you that we accept your insurance, but you could try to claim your expenses to them. We are not doctors, just chiropractors..." I told them that if I knew they did not accept it, I would not have made the appointment in the first place. I asked for my forms back, and they were shocked that I still did not want to stay as if they have done this before, intentionally, to others. So I left, and do not appreciate being lied to, especially when 8 months pregnant!

I began seeing Dr. Lisa for chiropractic care during my second pregnancy, as I had heard it could help with some of the lower back issues associated with pregnancy as well as decrease a womans average time in labor. Through that pregnancy and also my third one, Dr. Lisa took fantastic care of me. She is so dedicated to her craft and her patients that she came to my house and adjusted me while in labor and returned in the wee hours of the morning to adjust me again to help my then stalled labor---and ended up arriving just in time for the birth! She stayed and gave my son his first adjustment when he was 45 minute old! The kids and I continue to see her once a month for wellness visits; she has helped us through everything from migraines to norovirus to rsv! She has a great bedside manner and is great with the kids; they look forward to going to the child-friendly office. I highly recommend Dr. Lisa.

We LOVE Family Chiropractic. I became a patient of Dr. Lisas while pregnant with my second child. She helped me manage the aches and pains of preganncy naturally. I returned to her while newly pregnant with my third child who I hoped to have via VBAC. She worked with my wonky hips weekly and was so generous and kind to my older children. She is an EXPERT on preparing your body for birth and is so gentle and reassuring to work with. After a successful VBAC which I attribute to the excellent chiropractic care I received, she helped my newborn son with a painful latch while breastfeeding. She has even helped my oldest with sleep issues! I am still seeing her for the aches and pains of being a busy mom and I look forward to every visit.

Dr. Lisa is not like most Chiropractors out there. I had been to chiropractors before for back issues. went through treatment and stopped. I was in need of new orthodics and asked her is she sold them she said yes but only to existing clients. I said ok and signed up for appointment as client and this is when my perception of chiropractic changed as she spent time educating and discuss my personal situation and really explained the wellness and preventive care aspect to Chiropractic. I have been seeing her since and got my new orthodics and feeling good without any issues like i often had before. the regular adjustments have helped with things i never new it could like digestion and leg falling asleep. I would recommend her to everyone.

I have used Chiropractic care as well as physical therapy in numerous occasions before. This office is, by far, the best one yet. Everything clicks. The first time I went, I was told how much I will owe, how many trips my insurance covers and how much each trip will cost afterwards. I have been there over 20 times already. Everything is exactly as they said it would be. There are numerous other things that are amazing about this office. They make it incredibly easy to make an appointment (I can even do it one line), They are on time, and every time, and do not waste my time (it takes 1/2 hour every time). In addition, the care Dr Lisa and Dr Dennis provide is outstanding. I highly recommend them.

This place is amazing! I have been to other chiropractors over the years but none compare to this place. Very modern and up to date. The doctors are something else! I have never had such a thorough adjustment and have never felt better. They take the time to explain everything they do. If you have further questions and want time to talk to the doctors they make time for you. They also have a wellness center with a coach! Ive lost 30 lbs! Not a diet just a new way of life! They even adjust babies, pregnant moms...everyone in this place is great! Feels like family here. And they really care... couldnt ask for more. I tell everyone about this place
