I saw Dr. Phieffer here. Terrible doctor, complete waste of time and money. At one point she literally walked out on me as I was speaking. I was met with complete disregard and annoyance when I questioned absolutely anything about her regime (which wasnt working... at all). I asked if we could do a regime that was "less high-touch" as she was having me in the office every two weeks, and she got extremely offended that I would even ask. Her staff clearly know this is an issue with her- they saw her walk out on me and basically told me that it was status quo. Bottom line: she has a huge ego, is an ineffective doctor, and is a rude person.

Until my last visit, I had nothing but good things to say - good treatment and informed doctors that fixed my problems. On my last visit tho, I agree w another posters comments. I had a new issue that arose since my appt and simply asked them to look at a rash while I was already there - having taken time from work and paid the copay - the nurse and PA would not even glance at the spot on my arm. This seems hugely irresponsible to me, not to mention inconvenient to me as the patient. I can think of no good reason for this. I am not sure I will go back after that experience. Ridiculous.

These people are arrogant and rude and more importantly ready to gouge your insurance. The most incompetent office I have ever dealt with. No sense of urgency and absolutely what you would expect as far as a factory of doctors. They were more interested in my insurance than what I was calling about, as soon as I explained to their satisfaction that I did have insurance I was finally able to get one word in edge wise. Wanted me to have two appointments to do what could be done in only one by other doctors. Greed! Do not trust them with your health care.

Dont try to schedule an appointment for 2 related issues as Dermatology Associates of Virginia will not do this. Instead they try to schedule 2 separate appointments which I figure is to increase their revenue. Even after explaining to the scheduler that the issues are related they dont budge. I will never return because this bad practice tells me they put revenue ahead of patient health. Ive had no problem having 1 appointment for multiple issues at other providers in the Richmond metro accommodate.

The staff, including the doctor, were all very rude and did not inform me upon scheduling that my insurance would not cover my procedure and expected me to pay $850 out of pocket when they had already collected my $70 copay. I was charged $850 out of pocket for the procedure and received a letter from my insurance that they still billed my insurance company. I have ongoing disputed claims with this office. They are crooked, rude, and will waste your time. Do not go here.

I am giving this practice four stars only because I liked Dr. Haushalter. This was my first visit to this practice at the Short Pump office. There was only me and 3 other patients. My wait time was between 30-45 minutes and I got maybe a grand total of five minutes with the doctor. She was very nice, but seemed very rushed. I will give her and this office one more chance, if it is the same way...I will be going elsewhere.

My doctor at this location is Dr. Adam Martin. He is the best physician I have ever had. He is so sympathetic and concerned about how I am feeling and what Ive been through with my skin cancer. If you need a dermatologist I highly recommend Dr. Martin. Hands down he is the best. :)

The office staff was nice and helpful. However, Dr Rountree was pushing me out of the exam room before I could tell her why I was there. She was extremely disconnected and unconcerned. She rambled off conditions and walked out. Im still clueless as to what is going on.

Nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Spadafora. Been going there for years. Sometimes a little rushed but shes smart and seems to care.
