WASTE OF TIME! The building is old and not well air conditioned. The place is small and the waiting room is very cramped. I had an appointment (which took three days to get) but had to wait an hour and a half before I finally got to see a vet! Then he didnt give me any medication for my pets. He just told me to continue with the home remedy that I had already been doing on my own. I was charged $55 for this advice! So, going there was not at all productive for me and it unnecessarily stressed my pets. Everyone there is very talkative - which is either good or bad depending on your view. In my opinion, this place is good if you want to socialize but its not good for efficient and thorough animal care.

Weve taken our animals here for years now, from Hamsters to dogs and a cat. Theyve always been very friendly and all our animals have been comfortable with them, very flexible in schedule and doesnt charge me an arm and a leg for care. The staff are easy to talk to and seem to really care about the animals that come in. Not hard to understand at all either, I like to know what is up with my pet rather than someone beating around the bush. I couldnt recommend a better vet between front royal and Stephens City, its well worth the trip to care for the animals!

Dr. Mandel, and the ENTIRE staff at Stephens City Animal Hospital are Godsends! If not for them my furry four legged children wouldnt be alive! Thanks to them my oldest "son" survived parvo, cancer twice, HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis), and horners syndrome. And my baby girl is surviving congestive heart failure. I cant say enough wonderful things about them.

had an emergency and they got me an appointment asap and didnt charge me an arm and leg...they did everything they could to save my cockatiel but the vet was very nice and said everything in a way I could understand and comfort me when I had to make the hardest choice in my life...thank you so much guys! Did I mention they got me in earlier than my appointment!

Called to get an appointment for my dog. He has some weird skin thing going on. They told me they had no appointment for 6 weeks. I asked if there was another vet in the area. The lady on the phone told me to google it. Very poor customer service.
