After so many dermatologists espoused their automated, canned, algorithmic treatments for my skin disorders, I was determined to just deal with my acne, rosacea, and ageing skin on my own. I was tired of hearing how food has no effect on my skin, when I knew it did. I was tired of the same old suppressive drugs doled out as a matter of fact, and never with intent to cure, but only to calm things down for a while, only to have another flare. Someone told me about Dr. Corvette and what I heard seemed too good to be true: That not only is her office beautiful and well staffed, but that Dr Corvette takes time with each patient, listens, takes a full history and even CONSIDERS FOOD as influential in the health of skin. Hello!! I am so glad for the day I became a patient of Dr Corvette. I highly recommend her for people who want to step out of the ordinary and get real results. She is maybe not for those who just want the pill. Trust me--- there are plenty of drug dealers out there for you if that is what you want. If you want well rounded medicine and a doctor that thinks of you inside and out, Dr Corvette is amazing. I think her background in internal medicine and her ability to think outside the box, while also being an up to date conventional dermatologist, makes her the best of all worlds. Ive never looked or felt better for the advice Ive been given and the treatment in her office.

If I could give a half star I would...Dr Corvette does exams at break neck speed and has no time to answer any questions without making one feel less than; her practice of not refilling a prescription without yet another appointment ( like we were just there 1 month ago....for real, you have to make another appointment for cream?) makes one feel like she is all about the dollar bill she is making off the patient and has nothing to do with the welfare of the patient. Her office is a joke and I would advise others to check out Pariser Dermatology. with offices in Williamsburg, Newport News and Virginia Beach.. the doctors there are secure in who they are and do not feel the need to remind patients who is the Dermatologist Doctor and who is the lowly patient. And they do not insist on scheduling useless appointments in an effort to enhance Dr Corvettess billing to insurance companies.

This was one of the worst Drs appointments I have ever had. I got more feedback about me loosing weight then my eczema breakout. It was my first and last time. She really shot my self esteem from 100 to 0. Then she wanted to give me medication for my eczema but didnt even see me for it cause she was more focused on my weight. Never again will I go back. I will just have to suffer. She seams like a caring person but she need to be a weight loss teacher or instructor not a dermatologist.

I called this office to make a appointment and the receptionist was rude, but i figured maybe she was just having a bad day..i told her i wannted to come in for a acne treatment plan, and while i was more less told oh wait 6 months for your appointment, and dont you know acne happens there is really not much to do about it at your age (25) while the office is beautiful thats about the only good thing that could come from this office.

This was the worst ever and believe me I dont go to doctors often..She was unprofessional, and lacked in any skills that would make me believe she was a doctor. I am contacting my insurance company to complain about her, they should not be paid for non medical treatment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS INDIVIDUAL AT ALL!!!

Completely awful! Took out a mole in a very unprofessional way caused tremendous scarring and infection then blamed ME for it! My grandmother also was mistreated. Do not go here!!!
