I worked for this company for about 8 months. At first I really enjoyed them then I was lied to by Diane the case manager multiple times and decided to email the owners. We then had a meeting and I was pretty much told to sweep it under the rug. I was also talked to because I did too much cleaning for a couple I was taking care of. They told me if Im going to help the husband and clean me then tell him to call the office and they will charge them the "couples rate". Well I continued to help without their knowledge because in my mind paying $28 an hour is plenty! And I just wanted to help this poor guy. A couple months later it was my babys 1st birthday so I a co worker agreed to work my shift for me. I notified the office and a scheduler name Katy said ok and to email her so they have record. I did that and then went out of town for her birthday. Well apparently when I was gone with no phone the office manager Caroleen emailed me saying never mind it wont work (I didnt receive it since I was out of town and service) well the weekend came, I didnt work that day I was told Ok about but I did work the next day for them (fathers days) a 14 hour shift because they had nobody to work it. The next day came and I received an email with a termination letter attached saying Im fired immediately for not going to work the day I was told I could have off! Yet they had no problem having me work the next day 14 hours on Fathers Day. At the end of the letter they had the audacity to write "mail back the name badge and cascade companion care vest if you have one." Im sorry but this "Christian" company is nothing like they advertise! Fire me through an email and tell me to mail my stuff? I havent heard a word back from them since I was given that day off. They have some good workers (caregivers) and great clients! Sadly the office is like a cult.. another gal who worked in the office was told one day she doesnt have the brain for the position and to go home and shes fired. Just be warned, they lie, over charge, only care about money, not the clients or their staff! They had me fooled at first but thankfully a few months into Employment I saw the truth, I stayed working there because I loved my client!

Im glad CCC introduces the care givers to us first before letting them step into our home. I love that they are always there if we have questions or need emergency care for our parents. I worked with Cascade for 6 months and it was great! The staff is so kind and helpful, especially if youre a student with a crazy schedule! I ended up moving out of town, which is why I left, but I hated to go! I would recommend any caregiver to work with these wonderful people.

You cant help but worry when you have a parent who has Alzheimers. Good thing theres CCC. In all honesty, before CCC, I was at my wits end, hiring one caregiver to another. Now, with CCC, I am comfortable and confident that my father has the best possible care. Thank you!
