I called to try and make an appointment and they simply did not to make one for me, I believe, because I wasnt a patient with a simple cough or cut that would take five minutes. I had issues that would take the Dr perhaps fifteen minutes of his time. As it was I had a cut on my heel and needed someone to look at it, I am not double jointed. This person was having non of it. She had already made up her mind she wasnt going to schedule me in regardless. Her repeat comment was "we only take flu and colds" she may have said cuts, but I doubt it. I had the right insurance as, I had called them the day before and got the run around from them then. I get the impression that they also, would prefer cash patients so that they would not have to have the problem of filing insurance forms. So, folks if you are looking for urgent care, and are from out of town or just need someone to check something else out I would not recommend this clinic primarily because of the front desk staff. Who knows what the doctors are like...guess Ill never know...will you?

To who it may concern.. Whats up with all the bad reviews? I have been seeing Dr. McLaughlin since I was in my twenties. Now I am 59 yrs of age. I have witnessed people being turned away and its always the same. They either dont have excepting insurance with his policy or they are not capable of paying upfront cost. This man has taken care of me for over thirty years and never one time has the doctor or his staff treated me by what I have read in these reviews. I suggest the bad review pull your head out. As for those who need a MD. who is competent and willing to listen and sincerely care for his patients. He is the MAN!!! I have worked as a ironworker for over 30 plus years building highrises in Seattle. I can see through all kinds of people BS. This man has kept me off the edges of my death bed one more than one occasion. You want to see a good Dr. He is it. If you are a doper looking for your next high. You wont get your fix in his office. Good luck with that.

**Updated 08/22/16** My latest experience was without flaw. Every single person I encountered was caring and professional. ____ As someone who works professionally in customer service, I will agree with all of the reviews about the staff answering the phone and attending the check-in desk. They are unfriendly and talk to you as though you are an idiot. I am not an idiot, I am however sick and in need of assistance which is why I would call or visit this clinic. That said, the actual medical assistance Ive received has been excellent. It is a real shame they have not yet hired better staff who actually represent the clinic to the public and give the first impression of the service they are likely to receive.

Weve been seeing Dr. McLaughlin for over a decade and its always been good and now we have been turned away and treated like crap by the new lady that works at the front. What happened to the lady that used to work the front desk!? Too bad we have to find a different doctor now because this wench wont let anyone see him! Sorry Dr. McLaughlin, but you need to fire her and get someone with customer service skills. It was a good run but unfortunately your staff has lost you another customer, actually a whole family of customers - 5 customers to be exact.

Excellent and thorough medical clinical services. Both doctors are truly family physicians with their collective ability to treat a wide variety of familial illnesses, yet are specialized enough to be outstanding diagnosticians and able to treat significant medical ailments in-house or refer you to one of their many specialists, whom they have spent decades forging solid working relationships with and able to get you in when you desperately need a specialists intervention.

I dont understand why there are any complaints about this place at all. Dr. Mclaughlin and his staff are great. Moved to Washington 10yrs ago and been going to this office since. I have extended family out here as well and they all go to the same office. They are more than knowledgeable and helpful here. So anyone with complaints... probably just has issues themselves and are unsatisfied anywhere they go.

The only reason I go to this place is when my regular Dr. Is not available. But beware! !! Blonde lady at front desk is VERY RUDE, and minimal interaction. I feel I have to "ASK PERMISSION" to get a sign in form from her. And the wait time is ALWAYS, ALWAYS at least an hour. Usually longer. Wow. Im definitely going to have to find a new/better emergency care provider. Sorry Dr. M.

I have gone to Care Plus for many years. I took my children there when they were growing, and I continue to go there when needed. The clinic is very clean and efficient and I rarely have to wait long. I prefer natural medicine for my health needs, but when I need an MD, Dr. McGlaughlin or Dr. Frank are wonderful. I highly recommend this clinic for all general medical needs.

I agree with the commenter below. The blonde lady at the front desk is RUDE and doesnt care about customers. Shes only interested in spending time gossiping with the other staff there. That said, once you get past her the doctors are good and helpful. I wish the doctors would read these comments and fire her as she is turning away business because of her nasty attitude.

Have been going here for about 10 years. Love that they are open 7 days a week. Most of the time the wait is minimal to about 20 minutes. No appointment necessary!!!
