I went to this dentist because i was new in town and basically picked one that was close to my house. I had been having tooth pains for a week or so and went in to try to get things fixed or at least put on the right track to get my teeth fixed. But the only thing this dentist had to offer was sarcasm and pretentiousness. I already hate going to the dentist (who doesnt) but having a crappy attitude too? The only thing worse than this dentist attitude was his receptionist who would chime in from time to time with something cynical to say. If you like going to a dentist who is arrogant and thinks he is better than everyone than this is the place for you. Personally i prefer someone who talks to me like a human being and does not laugh at a legitimate problem. I have never written a bad review on anyone before, but my experience was so bad i felt i should tell everyone. Go to someone with more experience and at least some decent knowledge of bedside manner!

I moved to the area about two years ago. Which meant I had to find a new dentist. Prior to my move Id gone to the same great dentist for over 20 years. I was sure I would never experience the same level of care ever again. Well, I was wrong. Luckily I found Russell & Bode. Dr.s Russell and Bode plus all the staff are upbeat, professional and friendly. I consistently receive personal attention and genuine concern that is rare in todays world. The hygienist, Sarah, does a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr Russell is a dynamo who always does outstanding work on my teeth. I must say my expectations have been met and exceeded. I also like that the office is brand new and all the equipment is the latest and greatest. I expect to be going to Russell Bode for all my dental needs for the next 20 years.

Growing up, my dad was our family dentist. Visiting the office, then, was a familiar and comfortable experience for me. From the beginning, Dr. Russell and the staff at Russell & Bode Family Dentistry have given me that familiar and comfortable feeling all over again. The care and professionalism of everyone in the office from reception, to hygiene, to dentists and assistants is exceptional. At Russell & Bode clear and complete explanations of what is being done, what could/should be done and the recommended best practice for gaining and maintaining my dental health have been provided in friendly and understandable language. Everyone strives to answer any and all questions I have had.

I have a huge anxiety about dentists that has been present since childhood. As a result, I have a tendency NOT to go to a dentist until I have a problem and I am forced to. Dr. Russell and Dr. Bode always understand and respect my anxiety and try their best not to add to it or demean it. I am always greeted by name and a smile. They listen to what I am saying and explain things in a way that I understand. They are compassionate, sympathetic and knowledgeable. I absolutely love Judy, Amanda and Sonja for treating me with respect. I cannot say enough good things about their practice and would gladly refer anyone to become a patient.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to visit many Family Dentist. Simply stated, Dr. Bode and his entire staff stand above all the rest. From the moment you walk int their office you notice a difference. The staff is very professional and most friendly, they make you feel at home immediately. The technicians are superior to most, their compassion and desire to make you feel comfortable is beyond any expectations. It is very apparent that Dr. Bode has a passion for for his practice as well as his patients. In my opinion his practice deserves the "Top Gun" award. Bottom line, they are the very best of the best!

I saw Dr. Bode about a broken filling I had put off dealing with. He was very pleasant, and patiently went over my options and the costs, since I am uninsured. The receptionist, his assistant, and Dr. Bode were all very nice and didnt make me feel bad for not keeping up on my dental care. Ive seen a few mediocre dentists in the past, as well as arrogant ones. He is neither. I think Dr. Bode is a great dentist. My husband (who usually hates dentists and avoids going) saw him last month and was quite happy with the way he was treated, which is saying something.

Just moved here from Germany. Hadnt seen a dentist in three years. Broke a tooth and was lucky to find this place and even luckier to be able to get in immediately. Dr. Bode and the dental techs did an amazing job with my repair work. All of the staff I interacted with were courteous, professional, and friendly. One of the hardest things to find or do when moving into a new area is to find a good dentist. I believe I found the best! Now if I only I could find someone who knows how to give a decent razor hair cut, Id have all my bases covered.

When i first started coming here, I was apprehensive. But The office staff make you feel comfortable walking in the door. When you go back to see the dentists, Sonya assures you everything will be ok and shes right. Dr Russell and Dr Bode explain everything they are going to do and are quick, confident, and masterful at their craft. For cleanings? Ask to get Hailey. She is awesome and quick. Ill for sure bring the kids here when they are over 18. My family will stay here.

Dr. Bode and the entire team are top notch! Not only are they very skilled, but they never suggest treatment that isnt necessary, nor have I ever had complications with any care provided. My family and I have complete trust in the entire practice and feel were fortunate to have such wonderful dental team in Olympia. How often do you hear people say they look forward to their dental visits? Well, we do.

I went to the Dr. Russells office for a cleaning today. Tina was the hygienist. She always makes me feel comfortable and makes sure I have no discomfort. The atmosphere is very professional, yet very caring. My teeth look great after the appointment and I know I am in good hands. Best dental office in Olympia in my opinion.

Dr. Bode is professional, honest, and highly competent. The whole office is that way. Hes conservative in his treatments, kind, humorous, gentle, and communicative. I really appreciate that he didnt try to "up-sell" me on any treatments. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bode is an amazing dentist! I had expected to leave with 2 less teeth and instead he saved them and I had absolutely no pain the next day! I am truly a fan of this office. Not only was it a great experience the staff is so nice and very comforting.

Great office! great staff! They alway make you feel welcome and take the time to explain things. I never walk out confused and often I dont need anything but my cleaning and check up. I would highly recommend them!!!
