Wow! Prince Tugboat was able to get in same-day and be treated with incredibly loving hands the whole time. Right away the receptionist put together a single file with all of Princes vet histories and called the places I didnt have documentation from, then said all that *I* needed to do to submit a claim to his pet insurance is to email then the form from TruPanion. She did EVERYTHING else! Next Prince Tugboat got to meet the Vet Techs and they blew me away with gentle hands, complete compassion, a step by step breakdown of the options, an itemized cost estimate, an understanding heart around financial constraints, knowledge, experience, and WISDOM for this stressed out kitty Mama. One amazing VT even offered to give PT his medication orally over the next couple of days on her own time since his history with swallowing pills was rocky. She said I should just call before bringing him in and she would make time for him! The Doctor was fully willing to go with whichever options I chose without pushing me any particular direction. He was honest about the different benefits from each test and what he recommended based on Prince Tugboats particular symptoms but ultimately was completely comfortable with my choice. Afterwards, he allowed me to walk into the back to see exactly what the results meant and what he saw in the X-rays. Again he gave me a couple more choices about how I wanted to proceed. When the doctor found other concerns (namely broken canines) in his examination of Prince Tugboat, he asked if I would like to be reminded of this for a later appointment, and the next day I already had an email with another itemized estimate of cost, plus a breakdown for any additional procedures Prince Tugboat may need in the future for the other concerns. The next morning I received a call from the VT right away as a check-in about how Prince Tugboat was doing and was given step by step instructions about what to do should certain symptoms arise! I feel confident that Prince Tugboat (and myself) were in the best possible hands during this scary and stressful time! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR BRINGING MY BABY BACK TO ME SAFELY!

Im SO GLAD I found this vet clinic! Weve taken our cat Samson here a couple of times, and every time, we were seen immediately after arriving. No waits, and when other clients show up, the staff is happy to assist them while were still checking in, so theres never been a line. The staff is friendly, energetic, patient, and knowledgeable about pets health and their owners feelings. From diet to dental care to behavioral problems, theyve seen it all and are more than happy to share their knowledge with their clients. The clinic itself is a newly renovated space that is absolutely spotless- it is the cleanest animal hospital Ive ever seen. The exam rooms are smaller than some Ive seen, but that just means less hiding-places for squirrely pets. I think it would get cramped if there were more than 4 people in an exam room. Each room has a scale and computer right there so the doctor can look up anything you need. Most recently, our cat was seen as a follow up to a urethra blockage scare (he didnt have one, thank goodness, but he was acting like he might), and the doctor very patiently gave me a lot of tips and advice on how I could help him be more comfortable and happy to help avoid a scare like that in the future. Several months later, we havent had another scare, and Samson is as happy as a clam. :) I absolutely love Madison Street Animal Hospital, and I recommend them to anyone with a pet every chance I get. :)

I cannot say enough about Dr Bonnie Goldthwaite. Her thorough yet compassionate approach in caring for my pets had me searching the web to find her when she relocated to Seattle. I trust her completely. I have a great love for animals and have always considered them a huge part of my family, as, I would like to believe, most people do, Dr Goldthwaite took over the care of my previous little dog who had been ill for a good 6 months and I was heart broken that no one offered a diagnosis. Treatment was hydration and over night stays over and over again. This stopped when Dr Goldthwaite took over. The doctor walked me through the experience of cancer compassionately and then the decisions I had to make. Dr Goldthwaite now cares for my little Havanese and has done so since she was a puppy. Addressing the clinic, everyone from the receptionist to the vets assistant are great. They make you feel this is indeed a good and safe place. Everything is so clean and well taken care of. Everyone is up beat and caring. I cant say enough.

My dog needed treatment for her heartworms (a very costly treatment) and after calling around to several other clinics, vets, and animal hospitals I came across Madison Street animal hospital. They were incredibly friendly over the phone and very prompt in getting back to me regarding treatment and costs. They worked with me to find a good treatment and helped me find ways to have a total cost lower than what I was quoted everywhere else - elsewhere I was quoted as high as $2500 for treatment and here it was *significantly* lower! Of course the price had me skeptical but when I took her in the staff were very knowledge and friendly and followed up with me to see how my pup was doing later on. They are also open late and on Saturday, which is very helpful for any working individual. I am very happy with the service I have received through them. The only drawback is that they dont do payment plans or "bill-me" but honestly given how helpful theyve been through the whole process and the prices its become a non issue.

I decided to try madison street animal hospital because they were running a dental cleaning special. I had a great experience all around. The hospitals hours are amazing. It was very easy to make an appointment and the receptionists was extremely helpful. The vet techs/assistants were all very nice and most importantly they were great with my dog. The vet took the time to answer all of my questions and seemed very down to Earth. I never thought my dogs teeth could be so white and it took him very little time to recover from the anesthesia. The clinic even made a follow up call to see he how he was feeling the next day. In the past I have experienced clinics pushing expensive tests, vaccinations and medications that arent necessary. Madison Street Animal Hospital is more laid back than that and the prices seem quite reasonable.

This was my first visit to this hospital. I took advantage of some new-patient offers and got an exam and dental cleaning and necessary extractions for my cat. I got an appointment right away. Everyone was friendly; the clinic is clean and organized. The doctor was good at explaining everything and was friendly. My cat has her included follow-up visit yet to come. However, thus far, she is doing great, and the dental appears to have gone very well. The hospital is pretty new to the neighborhood (and very convenient for us!). I hope lots of people learn about it and take their pets there. I very much hope the hospital becomes a well-established service for the surrounding neighborhoods. I highly recommend this hospital. It is a great asset to the neighborhood!
