Im really disappointed in my experience with this facility covering the course of a week that my mother was here following surgery. From research, I understand that there are some management issues which are causing undue stress and problems with the nursing staff, but those issues are not dealt with professionally and frustrations are being taken out on the patients. I dont care how busy you are or how few breaks you get, there is absolutely no excuse for the level of uncleanliness, the bickering among staff in front of patients and visitors, and what is either laziness or simple mis-education. The bathroom conditions were deplorable and everything just seemed so disorganized. There were plenty of members of the staff who were friendly enough, but there was nothing like the level of patient care and compassion that Ive witnessed at other hospitals. A patient shouldnt have to apologize for asking for a drink of water, or be treated like a rag doll for requesting a different room. I will say that the ICU staff was much better, but there still overall lacked a warmness and that extra mile that so many other hospitals provide. There are some great people here, and some who have the potential to be great, so I sincerely hope that this place can get its act together soon.

I was in the e.r. on friday, 10/10/14......was fairly satisfied with the care with the exception of, they accessed by power port for blood work and for treatment. the problem is I was informed that they do not use the heparin solution after getting the blood and putting in the medicine. the nurse told myself and my husband that "with power ports you dont have to have the heparin. FUNNY. BARD STATES THAT AFTER BLOOD WORK, YOU NEED TO USE 20 ML OF NORMAL SALINE AND 5 ML OF HEPARINIZED SALINE. So now I have to go back to my kidney doctors lab and have them undo the damage done. they would end up doing some real damage to patients by not putting the heparin like recommended by the people who make them.

The staff is very friendly and nice but I had my cell phone and car keys stolen from my purse while I was in the imaging area for a mammogram while my stuff was in the fitting room accross the hall. Beware... dont leave any of your belongings out of your site for a second or it will get stolen. There were no signs and no one told me that my belongings were not in a secure area. This hospital needs individual lockers and I left a message with the administrative assistant of someone there in charge to call me and I never received a call back from anyone. Apparently they could care less about of their patrons that spend their hard earned money there for screenings or treatments.

Im sorry Travis had an issue with this hospital. This facility has came along way. And like many medical facilities they "see" patients according to severity of the presenting problem and may see more severe issues before the less severe. Maybe your issue could have been resolved with your family practitioner. With that being said, this facility, like I said has come a long way and is a very good comminity hospital for general surgery and will stabilize a more severe issue and transfer out. I have seen wonderful patient outcomes and have encountered very nice and hospitable nurses, doctors and support staff. I highly recommend!

Absutely terrible here. No call bell in the room i was in. I was in terrible pain....wasnt given any relief. Nurse told me i should go home a drink a lot of beer instead to take care of pain. I was told they couldnt give me pain medicine because im from out of town and they didnt know me. Pathetic!! Way to treat a visitor!!

This hospital has misdiagnosed multiple people I know and recently gave my infant a medication that needs to be taken "with plenty of water" It says it on the bottle. Tell me how an infant that only drinks 4-5 ounces 6 times a day can be supplemented with "plenty of water"?

This is the worst hospital I have ever been too. They took 9 hours to tell me they didnt know what was wrong with me. There was blood on the bed I was in and it wasnt mine. The nurses pull the fingers off of their gloves to take blood and they are very unfriendly

You will wait for hours to be seen even if there not busy. The nurses are terrible and always get.stuff and paper work messed up. Do not go here . Go to another close hospital
