August 2016 I just came back from a visit with Dr. Sheila Kredit and could not be more DISSATISFIED with my service from beginning to end. First off, Im new to Madison and had to find a doctor that would see me in time in order to get a physical for teaching which consists of a physical fitness test and a tuberculin (TB) test. I had asked the receptionist on the phone that I needed a tuberculin test, but after Dr. Kredit saw me she said that needed to schedule an appointment a separate day. This is just the first complaint I have. Not only did they not listen they CHARGED me for a separate visit only to be told that I have good insurance and that I dont pay anything. Well, I pay a good ever increasing dollar for my healthcare and for them to tell me that insurance will cover just made me feel taken advantage of. Second, it may be everywhere nowadays but I had to fill out a non healthcare Obamacare questionnaire asking me about smoke detectors and if I own a gun and how many and where they are kept. I asked them to treat me like a person and not pry into my personal life. This wasnt received well. They told me unless they knew everything that it would be difficult helping me. Third, my visit took four and a half hours. That is just for a blood panel test (which actually took 3 minutes to draw my blood) and an intense questioning which I feel was punishment for not answering the Obamacare questionnaire. My appointment was at 8:15, which they were on time (my only positive experience) and I left the phlebotomist at 12:45. Quite awful to have to fast for 12 hours and then have a four in half hour appointment. Fourth, I was told that in order to get my physical statement, in order to teach, I needed to have a behavioral assessment. I told Dr. Sheila Kredit that the Illinois state law describes the physical statement to be an affirmation that Im able to be physically fit an free of communicable disease. Dr. Sheila Kredit said her interpretation is that physical also means mental. I was flabbergasted. Its like saying up is down. They refused to sign my form after I went for my follow up to my second appointment for my tuberculin test came up negative. Im physically fit and free of communicable diseases but they wont sign my form. The takeaway should be that: Wingra Family Medical Center is unethical by using my healthcare to extort money out of my insurance company; Dr. Sheila Kredit is inept at her job because she cant listen to her patients needs. Do not go to Wingra Family Medical Center for your healthcare. You will be disappointed.

I love this place because the people here are true professionals. They are better than they have to be. They treat everyone, even the dull and ignorant and rude people (you know there are always those!) with equal respect and care. I have had nothing but good experiences here, with almost always on-time visits with my doctor, efficient nursing staff and amazing Lab people who can draw blood without hurting me! The entire operation is exactly what I would ask for if I could order the ideal clinic. Thank you, everyone at the Wingra Family Medical Center, I am so happy to have you all working on my healthcare team. From Neal ( so personable yet always professional) at the front desk, to Dr. Dalby, (amazing, professional, kind and thorough) to Kat, ( Best and most competent Lab Tech ever!) up in the lab. You, and the entire staff all make having health issues easier.

Had the worst billing mix-up of my life at this office. They ran my insurance card wrong initially and then were very difficult to work with in resolving the issue. E.g., I had to call my insurance company to convince the billing office that they ran the insurance incorrectly, and then Wingra refused to reach out to my insurance company directly for a subsequent billing issue, forcing me to be the intermediate. Its worth knowing that their billing is outsourced, so the issue was not directly with Wingras staff. Still, an awful time for a couple of immunizations.

Great staff, physicians, behavioral health, family practice, and , OBGYN in house labs, imagining. I especially like the family medical staff Dr. Kristen Rindfleisch, Dr. Potter, and the residents. I refer my family and friends to this clinic which could not be a better review. Keep up the good work. Because they train family practice MD, Dean and most insurances cover costs here, Verona, Bellville, and Northeast. Please verify this in the event it changes.

I love the Wingra Access Clinic. I was referred here by two friends, and I have referred two additional friends of mine. The doctors look at me when I talk with them so they understand how I am feeling and they can follow up on the important things. Another person is there to enter the information in their computer. The doctors and I come up with a plan on how we will work together on each thing we look at. Sue Hoffenberg

Does anyone else have problems trying to get a hold of this clinic? Ive been put on hold almost an hour twice now. Im also a new patient and left my info for them to call back. No one has returned my call. Does anyone work there? Im about to switch providers if Unity cant get their clinics working.
