I rarely ever review places, and often only do in order to give a good review, but what I just experienced is worth noting. I need 3 wisdom teeth extracted and I came in for X-rays. A dentist inspected my teeth and made notes, and a hygienist cleaned them. All was well and everyone seemed nice. I was informed that their oral surgeon only comes 2 days a month, which I wasnt thrilled about, but I made the appointment. I was called to be informed that the oral surgeon looked over my X-rays and would go ahead with my extraction on that date without needing another consultation with him. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu and was very sick so I could not make the appointment. When I called to reschedule, the appointment was pushed back 3 weeks since the surgeon is only there twice a month, which I wasnt thrilled about but what could I do. The person I was on the phone with made it clear with me that the appointment would be for an extraction and that she would confirm with the surgeon to make sure he didnt need a consultation appointment (even though he previously agreed to do it without a consultation). The weeks went by and I just got a phone call reminding me that my appointment coming up was for a 15 MINUTE CONSULTATION. They said the next time I could come in for an extraction was in 3 weeks. That would mean I have been waiting 8 weeks for my wisdom teeth to be taken out since my original X-ray appointment. And mind you, my teeth have been in pain this whole time. Upset by this, I informed them that there was a mistake and this was not what I made the appointment for, and explained the situation, and the woman was barely apologetic and honestly sounded like she had a slight attitude in her tone. I told her that if they could not care for me in a timely manner that I would have to go to a different practice and cancel my appointment with them. She did not seem to sympathize with my situation much, and just repeated that there was no time for an appointment for me, so that was that. And honestly, I understand that mistakes happen, and I even understand scheduling difficulties, but what I DONT understand is not approaching the mishap with caring and an apologetic attitude. I will not go there again and will never recommend.

I have been going to Dr Alpert for over ten years. In that time I have had emergencies and regular appointments. Her professionalism and kindness is unprecedented. I broke my front caps and I had a reservation to go to North Carolina. My flight was on a Tuesday and this happened on a Saturday evening. I called and she told me to come to the office where by she did emergency repair and proceeded to be sure my teeth would be good to go. Union my arrival home she had the replacement caps done. I went to her office and she made sure I was taken care of immediately. She is not only a great dentist but a kind caring person. She goes out of her way to give and get the best unto date information on any and all procedures. She thinks outside the box. This is a dentist I would recommend to anyone. She never leaves a patient until the procedure is done to her and your satisfaction. She has come in early and stayed late to help her clients. Thank you Dr. Alpert. I appreciate your help and kindness.

Dr. Albert left my ten year olds dental work incomplete so that she could rush off to her vacation. My ten year old was Dr. Alberts last patient for the day before the Dr.s vacation. When my daughter complained of pain and starting crying, Dr. Albert refused to complete the dental work and told my husband to find an oral surgeon to pull the tooth out. Since this all occured on a Friday evening I was unable to find an oral surgeon to complete the botched job. When I called Dr. Alberts answering service I was told she was unavailabe, she left for vacation. Please spare your child from this dentist. My daughter was horrified.

Dr. Crohn and Dr. Alpert are both wonderful dentists. They have been our family dentists for years and are the only ones my children have ever seen. They are kind, caring, warm and welcoming. My husband has had emergencies that they took care of the same day. When my daughter was freaking out because she needed her teeth pulled, Dr. Alpert calmed her down and my daughter was fine during the procedure. They are a great dental practice and the only place we will ever go.

My husband and children have been to this dental office. We have always found the staff to be courteous and well organized. Everyone is pleasant. We never have to wait long. We never feel pushed to have expensive procedures done. The dentist (I cant remember his name unfortunately) is always gentle. The assistant (who I think is called Cookie) is very funny. All in all, we have nothing to complain about.

I have to say with having bad experiences in the past with dentist I was nervous going to another new dentist. With that being said this is the best office. The staff especially Jessica is amazing. I see doctor Douglas and she is amazing as well. By far the best dentist I have ever been to. She is kind, patient, gentle and so thorough with her work. I would recommend everyone to go to her.
