This is the most unprofessional business Ive ever had to deal with. Its taken me almost 3 years to build up the courage to deal with issues that Ive had with Hepatitis C. I came in a month ago and sat all day for bloodwork. 2 ladies took 3 min trying to find a vein about 15 mim before closing time, and neither could find one. I tried showing them where a vein is with my hand and one of thr ladies slapped it away and said she didnt have time for this, she had to pick up her daughter. I was sent to do lab work at Labcorps who were extremely nice and caring. 13 vials of blood later, they told me to contact my physician, who is Jacqueline Choi in 3-5 days later. 6 days later I called and they told me to come in for my results. I took off work early and when I showed up, they had nothing for me. Choi had informed the clerk that she hadnt went over the results yet. So I was told to show up 2 days later and informed that everything would be finished. I showed up 2 days later, again taking off work, and yet, the same thing has happened. I was informed that Choi was on her first day of vacation lmao. I feel so hopeless and no one here cares. Its taken me so long to try and work on this and this place has been nothing but a disaster.

This clinic is the worst. There follow up is unbelievably poor. They dont provide the proper information to the patients. I would recommend staying away unless like me you are desperate and have no insurance. My initial appointment was on April 27th and during my intake I told the doctor the medications I was on and showed him the bottles with the prescription labels and the medications in them. One month later when I needed a renewal they told me they could not refill one of the prescriptions and that I would need to see a psychiatrist. Meanwhile it is not a medication that you can just stop taking and they had ample opportunity to tell me that they would not be able refill it and refer me to a psychiatrist NOT WHEN I WAS OUT OF THE MEDICATION. When they see what meds you are on upon your initial intake and they are your primary care physicians they should tell you at that point how your care will work and what doctors will prescribe what and make the appropriate referrals then. Another example of a broken healthcare system and lack of proper patient care. Now I need to go through the trouble of finding the proper authority to report them to.

Visiting from Florida, I went in to the Clinic to address various problems (including a respiratory tract infection, high blood pressure, cronic migraine, osteoporosis, etc.) but they could only deal with one problem at a time. This didnt happen either, I left with no medication having seen largely inexperienced doctors who had to constantly check with their attending before making a decision, that was not forthcoming. I now have to go to a hospital emergency room to get medicine for my respiratory infection. At the Clinic the doctor wanted to "wait an see". My calls to the clinic are being ignored. Dont waste your time or money.

Youve got to remember that the Ryan Center is basically a ultra-low cost medical service facility, for people without other medical options. With that in mind, Id say they do quite a good job. Im retired, on a fixed income, and have always gotten good care from the Ryan Center. Of the many doctors Ive worked with there, all but one were skilled and attentive. Wait times are somewhat long, but not oppressively so. If you can afford main stream medical care, go for it. If not, Ryan is a good alternative. Like any other facility, it helps to be pro-active, and articulate on your own behalf. But when is that not the case?

I have been going to Ryan for 2 years now and have not had the issues the previous reviewers had. The wait times for me have averaged 20 minutes to see a doc. I have waited this long and more at a regular docs office. i have always received excellent, competent care and have never felt rushed in my appointments. The docs have always taken time to talk to me and seem to really be concerned about my overall health: advising me on healthier living, etc. This is an excellent resource if you do not have health insurance and I have recommended Ryan to many of my friends.

The Doctors here are great but when you need a damn referal, any paperwork or anything requiring the administrative staff to do you can never get it done because they are so unprofessional, dismissive, rude and never do things the right way. Also the Red Tape in this place is BAD for anyone who has a PCP here and has a serious condition, Id go get another PCP elsewhere because youll never get the care you need because you cant get referals or get professional service, youll die before they get things right the way they do things here...Horrible.....

Do not pay attention to negative reviews. I go to the one on 10th Ave and 45th Street. This is a wonderful health center. I have been going there for years. I always see my primary dr. Yes, sometimes a wait but they are giving good care to preceding patients and sometimes it takes longer. Excellent care. Personal. Warm and friendly. And completely clean! I dont know where the negative reviews are coming from. And very reasonable rates. I am always grateful to the friend of mine who told me about them.

Extremely well run, I have never been left waiting for very long before or during my appointments. The staff is friendly and efficient. They have a great online portal for making appointments and viewing lab results. Some of the doctors are young but are thorough and well supervised. I have excellent insurance and would have lots of other options and I have never been as happy with my medical care as I am here. I have never had any of the problems that some other reviewers cite.

The Ryan Chelsea-Clinton Community Health Center is very efficient and provides excellent care towards its patients. I have never experienced any problems when arriving on time for an appointment and the staff are very diligent and professional in the performance of their duties. I highly recommend this place and Dr Jonathan Swartz is by far one ot the best doctors I ever dealt with in caring for my medical needs. Thank You.

SHE IS GETTING TO KNOW ME AND I FEEL SUPER COMFORTABLE WITH HER. THEN THERE IS CONNY TEJADA- "CANCER SERVICES PATIENT NAVIGATOR" SHE GOES ALL OUT TO HELP SOMEONE. LIKE SHE HAS FOR ME. AND SHE IS ALSO EXTREMELY CUTE!

shouldnt we just be grateful that this service is here for those of us who have no insurance or little of anything, that is why we go there , right. just be grateful and happy that it still exists. If time is all we got on our minds of waiting to moan about then we are blessed.

Sometimes they dont even answer the phone and keep you waiting over two hours for your appointment. You see a different primary care doctor every time. Referrals take months and months to get filled out.
