Middlehope was our primary vet from 2011-2014. Dr. Susan Biolsi, Charlene, Meredith, and the whole staff provided excellent treatment and care to our three cats. Dr. Biolsi performed an ear polyp biopsy on one cat, successfully diagnosed another cat with asthma, and began treatments for him that dramatically improved his QOL. Scheduling was always easy, drop-off and pick-up around workdays possible, and the friendly, competent service we received was truly top-notch. We even came back to Middlehope after moving to Westchester County for a year because we just couldnt find care and quality of the same caliber. Later, Middlehope assisted us with all the paperwork needed to move our cats abroad with us. After our move, the staff patiently answered some veterinary questions for us until we found a competent foreign vet. That extra assistance when we needed it most really underlines how much the Middlehope team cares for all their patients. Thank you!

About a year ago I was desperate to find a trainer for my very anxious German Shepherd puppy. After scouring the yellow pages, I came upon your listing and a footnote by Suzanne Taurone. She explained the background she had in dealing with her own anxious Shepherd. Suzanne has been working with my Shepherd since then and the transformation is unbelievable! Suzanne has not only trained Fritzi, she has trained me! She is firm but fair and provides tremendous insight to understanding what makes a dog tick. She is generously helpful and patient with pooch and parent. Her classes are structured but relaxed. One year ago, I was embarassed to walk down the street with my dog. Now I can relax and enjoy a well trained companion. I cant thank Suzanne enough for getting a very difficult situation under control and encourage anyone struggling with an anxious pooch to reach out to Suzanne.

We became a client of Middlehope Vet when we moved to the area in 2005. We visited with Dr. Solomons and based our decision to join on his expertise and quality care. Dr Solomons has cared for our pets through many illnesses, he has taken time to consult with specialists and also referred us to veterinary specialists when required. The Middlehope staff works hard to keep a vet visit as a positive experience, and totally spoils our dogs. They are always eager and excited to visit the vet, I never had a dog who LIKED to see the vet! We have also used the doggy day care services, and the dogs LOVED the play group. With constant supervision, I never had a negative incident with my dog. Every single staff member has an obvious love of animals, and their caring attitude is reflected from the first contact to the personal interest they take in followups.

The most caring, accommodating and knowledgeable staff coupled with a cozy and clean facility. I cant say enough how much we love and appreciate Middlehope Vet and Pet n Play Luxury Resort. My Jack Russel Spanky has been staying at the resort for nearly 10 years whenever we go away for short stays and longer vacations up to two weeks. Hes a good natured yet difficult dog and hes always welcomed with open arms and given special attention at his stays. He even came home with a special holiday bandana on his last stay, so heart-warming to see that they care so much. Theres no better Vet around. Hes seen a few in the past who werent able to help his severe anxiety but Middlehope Vet is always patient and very eager to help him. Id be lost without Pet N Play and Middlehope Vet.

Suzanne Taurone is one of the best trainers Ive worked with throughout my involvement with dogs. As an As an AKC Rally and Obedience judge, I can say with confidence that Suzanne helps people not only live happily with their dogs at home, but she also gets them ready for the sport of competitive obedience if that is a goal. Suzanne has an innate ability to "read" dogs. Her training is not one size fits all. She accesses the dogs individually and customizes a specialized approach for each dog and handler team. Suzanne is warm, smart and humorous. Her classes are not only valuable, but they are fun too! I highly recommend Suzanne especially as a problem solver and as an all around quality instructor.

The Middlehope Vetrenary Hospital and pet and play resort basically says it all. The establishment is a complete caring and giving one stop place that I have gone to for 30 years. They have effectively ushered me and my family and three very active, compassionate pets through various highs and very lows. The Dr and staff are completely versed in pet care for all . They all are courteous and maintain a professional mantra regardless of the clients urgency. The Pet and Play resort is another well thought out and executed process. It offers a day care venue with complete coverage for different age groups and activity level pets. As I said in my opening " it is and continues to be my one stop place"

Im giving a star because no one is bad enough for 0 stars. Let me first say the resort is really very nice. The problem is they dont communicate with customers about policies or let them know when problems previously occurred with their animals. After bring my puppy there only for one week he got sick and it was only after he got sick was I informed that there had been a highly contagious sickness going around with their animal customers. When my puppy came in for treatment he was also placed in a dirty room even though the staff prides itself on cleanliness. I was very disappointed with this experience and its a shame because the facility really is nice.

I brought my 2 year old hound dog, Sailor, in for an emergency check up. He had puncture wounds from a fight with his brother Stacks. Stacks is a purebred pit bull so you can imagine how nervous I was, its really hard to tell how bad a furry cut is! The girls in the front were so, so nice and simply chatting with them before the check up, put me at ease. Sailor is super friendly with everyone, and jumped right on the Doctor. She was so good with him. I was so pleased with how well the visit went. Sailor is now on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. My dogs are my family and I will absolutely be bringing Stacks to MVH from now on as well!

Suzanne Taurone is a top notch trainer! She quickly assess your personalities, your style of learning, and works with both the canine and the handler, she makes it a co-effort. She stays current in her field and in my thought, uses the preferred method of training; Positive Reinforcement techniques. Her style of training is effective and lasting. Salvatore, my long haired Chihuahua, my best buddy, and a Certified Therapy Dog thanks to Suzanne. We would not have accomplished all that we have nor be where we are today if it hadnt been for her training. She comes highly recommended. She is like a family member to us! Many thanks!

The doctors and staff at Middlehope Veterinary are amazing. They deliver personalized and superior care, and easily involve owners in the treatment process. Dr. Solomon and Dr. Biolsi, as well as their support staff, are easy to talk to and have no problem answering questions and explaining things in full so owners can understand what exactly is being done for their pets. I also love that the staff is personable and friendly, and I never have to wait long. Recently they added a very reputable trainer to their staff to run their training classes, and it shows that they are committed to excellence. I recommend Middlehope to everyone!
