I had a really bad experience with this place. I had a root canal done and they did not tell me anything about a crown. When I asked them about it a month later, they realized they screwed up and hurriedly scheduled me in and submitted a request with my insurance company. By this time, my tooth was pretty badly deteriorated as they shaved it down a lot. I went to another dentist they told me theyd take care of everything immediately and get the crown on. I asked staten island dental to release the authorization for my insurance. fast forward 3 weeks where I kept getting the runaround just for them to finally tell me that the dentist who treated me is no longer there and they dont knew when I can come in because they have no one right now. I asked them to immediately release the authorization as I was no longer looking to be treated there. Fast forward another 3 weeks and nothing at all is getting done. I had my insurance company call, they released authorization immediately. This place is a mess.. save ur self the trouble and go somewhere else.
