Recently switched to this facility after going to Liverpool Veterinarian or possibly may be called Liverpool Veterinarian Hospital ... ? (Located on Route 57 / Oswego Road - just up the street from Seneca Mall) Myself as well as my parents have been going to this Facility for 13 years and they have treated at least 6 - 8 of the family Dogs over those years. The staff is... Acceptable. But thats about the extent of the way they seemed to treat there clients.... UNLESS OF COURSE - YOUR WEALTHY & NEVER Face a situation of difficult financial Times and when you do and ask for any type of help with financial crisis or anything related- well... They pretty much will let your Pet aka Family member go without before doing anything at all to help you with any sort of payment related options. The Veterinarian Dr. Skogland, definitely is a compassionate Vet that surley loves his profession and not only enjoys what he does but is also very knowledgeable and good at it as well. Recently, I was DELIGHTED TO MAKE THE SWITCH TO VCA - Shop City Animal Hospital & was beyond impressed with the WHOLE staff & vey pleased with Dr. Honeyset (whom will be taking over the care of my new member to my Family- My Boxer Pup. He is EXTREMELY Knowledgeable & took his time to fully examine all my puppies needs and make sure to address ALL the questions I had during the visit - As well as apensing at least 5 minutes when I called few days after with some concerns and questions. Im DEFINITELY NOT GOING ANYWHERE from here I out! Not to mention they have numerous options regarding your pets care and making it very affordable and offer a pretty wide range of choices to assure your Pet gets all there medical needs meets at VERY AFFORDABLE AND IDEAL PAYMENT PLANS. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THANK YOU SHOP CITY FOR YOUR OVERALL OVER THE TOP CARE AND COMMITMENT

There are manhy positives about VCA hospital...the staff is professional, curteous, and helpful. I gave two stars as I had 2 experiences that could have been easily avoidable if the vet had given me a heads up about the side effects of the anathesia after the neuter, and the side effect from a steroid shot. I think it is important to educate the pet owner on what to expect when they go home. Both times I was up all night with.a crying puppy as he was in pain and discomfort from coming off the anethesia. and the steroid made him pee frequently and in large amounts. every 15 to 30 min he emptied his bladder for a good 5 days, and I dont know how long this will last. I thought I was craking up and didnt know if it was physical or behavioral. He is only 5 mos. and I am a first time puppy owner. Had I been thoroughly informed, it would have saved me a lot of worry, grief, and anger.

I called the clinic this morning to get information regarding Maltipoo breeder in upstate area. My wife and I do not wish to encourage puppy mills and we thought we could get good information from the clinic itself. The call was answered by a very professional and friendly lady named Izzy. She patiently listened to my concerns and provided some good advice on distinguishing puppy mill breeders from good ones. She politely explained why it will not be professional to share client information but offered to keep an eye out for Maltipoo breeds if they come to the clinic and request the owners to share the breeder information with me. This seems to be a great facility by the sound of it and if I get to buy a good puppy, we will be their clients for sure! It is so close by!

Love the staff there, they are very passionate & informative. They do try to be price conscious and give choices in the best treatment with cost-effective options. My adventurous kitty has multiple visits per year (fights and injuries she brings upon herself!) but they are always so kind, and remember my little Easter Bunny from her past visits. Appointments are usually available and she can always be seen right away. Its not a very fancy or luxurious place, but I dont have much to compare it to. I would recommend it if you live near by!

I just moved to the area and we brought a new puppy here for his first exam. I was so impressed with everyone at the office I decided to continue bringing him and my three other pets. Everyone is very friendly, professional and helpful, the offices and rooms are clean and they will work with you. They all make you feel very welcome and they always are friendly to the pets. Every time my puppy was sick they made an appointment for me right away. I would recommend them if you want a thorough, professional, friendly experience.

My three dogs have been patients of Shop City for years. When we adopted Rocky almost ten years ago from the CNYSPCA he had his neuter done at Shop City and we were not happy with the vet we were using so we switched since we had a good experience with Rocky. The staff and the vets are very nice and knowledgeable. We do usually have to wait but I think they are busy with emergencies very often. I know if it was one of my dogs and the office was open and it was an emergency I would not hesitate to go straight over there.

This vet shop is the WORST vet id ever been to, and ive been to the one at the country-side of China. When i first walked in, the man behind the counter was beating his child over the head with a pair of surgeon gloves. I was shocked and wanted to leave but my dog was in pain. As i went further i could smell the scent of burnt meat??? At that moment i realised, .... I messed up. I ran as fast as i could but they were after me. I had to ditch my dog. R.I.P Ben

The family of Coco Marie Vecchio would like to thank Dr. Heather Danboise, Izzy and all of the staff @ Shop City Animal Hospital for taking care of Coco for these past 15 years. The care and compassion exhibited by them was exemplary. She was a very special dog who will be greatly missed. We believe that she has a special place in the hearts of the all who knew her. We will love her forever.

My dog was seen as a walk in new patient yesterday and unfortunately was diagnosed with a sudden onset of a grave illness. Dr. Ruff and the rest of the staff was so caring and compassionate to my dog and to me. The time spent with us will never be forgotten. Thank you very much for understanding how painful it was to make the final choices we were faced with. I definitely recommend this practice.

The Doctor Honeyset is excellent and you know he cares about your pet. He always calls back if you need to speak with him about anything. I feel they have more years experience to offer in the way of knowledge for your pet. They have seen more over their years and it is very nice to be able to speak with an old school Doctor. The front staff is very helpful as well.
