I could only take the receptionists being horribly rude to me four times before switching to a different vet. I called once about walk in hours, while walkin hours were in session and the woman yelled at me saying they closed in ten minutes and were locking up that moment, then hungup on me! They treated me this way not only over the phone a few times, but also in person! The vet himself was very nice and good. It is unfortunate his staff was sooo aweful mannered! I would not recommend.

There is no substitute for Wantagh Animal Hospital. We have used them for over 23 years. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else. We recently had to put down our beloved Licorice. They were so supportive and caring in such a genuine fashion. Dr. Fischman and her assistant and the entire staff helped us through our most difficult time. When we are ready to adopt again, Wantagh Animal Hospital will be there for us and we are thankful for that! RIP Licorice!

I think the staff at Wantagh Animal Hospital are excellent! From the front desk, to the assistants in the back, everyone is caring and only want the best for our pets. There have been some big changes in the past year or so, but those seem to be for the best. There are a lot of new faces (receptionists as well as doctors), but they are all very friendly and always willing to help. I would, and do recommend this vet to all of my friends and family!
