This is an amazing animal hospital. My experience was an awesome one. I would highly recommend this animal hospital. I landed here because my cat "Slauson", got hit by a car or had a nasty fall. The cause is unknown but he had some facial damage. He was in bad shape. Jaw was swollen and hanging. I chose this location because I had been to this place previously with another cat. The name use to be Beach Cities Cat clinic. I was able to make a same day appointment. Jessica was able to squeeze my in. Thank God for Jessica. Jessica is the receptionist. She is a beautiful soul. She definitely knows how to treat a stressed pet owner. A great disposition. She made me feel at easy and that I was a valued. Its rare to find someone that genuinely care and has empathy for what youre going through. Jessica dont ever change, you are perfect. Keep smiling and showing off those dimples. Stay positive,as you told me. Susan Kranz was the veterinarian that examined Slauson. She was very gentle and caring. She was thorough and explained to me what was going on with Slauson. I would highly recommend this animal hospital. They really care about your pets well being. My experience was magnanimous from start to finish. Slauson is doing great....

OPTIONS, OPTIONS, OPTIONS!!! Dr. Marchan ALWAYS gives you several treatments for you to choose. Being handicapped, I know what its like when doctors just tell you what to do without keeping you in the loop of what their long-term goal is, just telling you what the first step is. Dr. Marchan not only gives you treatment options, but takes his time with you and wont leave the room until you totally understand whats going on with your 4 legged daughter ( or son ). Thats not what you find every day. His staff is wonderful, I was so worried that I cried and Jessica came out of her chair and sat by me to comfort me and give me a hug. THEY ARE ALL WONDERFUL!!! Thank you to Dr. Marchan, and his great staff. Love you guys!!

The vets and staff are all very knowledgable, caring, and efficient. Dr Stegman is treating my 15 year old cat for arthritis and its really helping him! I love the calm waiting room and the feeling of being in an overall well run cat clinic. I used to take my cat elsewhere for grooming, but he was such a hell-raiser that he had to be sedated. At BCCC the staff is able to cajole him so doesnt need sedation anymore. The receptionist Stacy is also able to juggle lots of ball without losing her pleasant disposition-no mean feat. Im so pleased to have access to an animal hospital that provides such competent care. I only wish there were a dog clinic right next door.

Love them! We have been going to them for a long time and have always had great experiences. They took amazing care of our cat who had kidney disease who has since passed. They also used to cut our cats and currently cut one of our dogs toenails! Its great because its not too expensive and totally worth us not getting hurt in the process (our rescue screams the whole time even when we havent cut one yet). They also dont tend to mince words which I really appreciate when it came time for our cat they were very honest with us about everything and how it was what was truly best.

Dr Marchan has been my dogs vet for years and I trust both he and his wife implicitly. Their new clinics have wonderfully loving and caring staff and my dogs actually love seeing him sit on the floor with them during their checkups! The Marchans care so much about all animals and their prices are very reasonable. I had an emergency with my dog just yesterday and the staff didnt hesitate to tell me to come right in even though it was the end of their day. I give them the highest recommendation possible!

Dr. Vacquez is great. Very sweet with my cat who isnt too fond, at all, of seeing a vet! And she really cared when one of my cats went missing for two weeks and then was found and needed some TLC. I have been very pleased with their services. In fact, I have gone to them exclusively for my two cats even tho they arent super convenient because they had given free services to the rescue organization where we got our cats and so I have wanted to repay that kindness. I strongly recommend them.

I have been with Dr. Marchaun for over 15 years and through all of my dogs lives he has been an exemplary veterinarian. I am on my third Rottie and he is the only vet I will see. I started with Dr. Marchaun when he was located on Lakewood Blvd. in Bellflower, and have followed him since. His staff at South Bay is awesome, caring and always so friendly and professional. If you love your pets, take them to South Bay Animal Hospital for all their health needs!

This vet is really great. I took my baby Ivy there for all of her exams and treatments but like another review said they give you a list of things they say she needs without really explaining anything and it is pretty pricey. Ive spent a lot of money here. To spay my cat it was close to $350. I love my cat so I want her to get anything she needs, but if youre on a budget you might want to consider a low income place.

$700 and no plan. Doc talks fast and leaves the room, tech comes in with an expensive lists of tests and I dont know why we are doing any of them. This is just the first list they want to do. No confidence.
