I can not say enough about how wonderful Dr. Herrera is! No matter how busy she is if you have a question she will take the time to answer it thoroughly. She helps you understand what is going on and gives you options. I appreciate she isnt the kind of Vet to push for tests if there is something you can watch or try, yet is honest and will tell you if they are needed. Your pet and their health always come first. I tried several vets in the South Bay before I found Dr. Herrera and never felt totally comfortable. After one visit to Peninsula Center I would never change. You can tell she cares and loves all her patients. It even goes beyond Dr.--her staff is outstanding also! Thank you for taking wonderful care of my babies!

After seeing mich janes blasting of Dr. Herrera, I felt the need to counter that comment because Dr. Herrera is hands-down the best vet in the South Bay--if not all of Los Angeles County. She is competent, caring, and easily accessible after-hours. Ive been going to Peninsula Center Pet Hospital for 15 years and my pets have never experienced a negative impact from staying in their care. In fact, under her and her staffs care, theyve saved the lives of three of my pets. When your pet is sick, I think youd be hard-pressed to find a vet like Dr. Herrera who will give you their home & cell phone numbers to call in case theres a problem over night or on Sunday and, for me, that type of dedication is unbeatable.

I have had numerous cats over the years, with a variety of issues - kidney disease, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, fungal nose infection, cancer - you name it. The latest was a male kitten I adopted recently who had a prepuce stricture. Dr. Herrera skillfully diagnosed and treated all of these issues, with care and compassion. And, when the sad time comes to say goodbye, Dr. Herrera will come to your house so that your pets last moment will be an a place of love and comfort. She has been a wonderful partner in the care of my pets for the past 14 years. Oh, and getting to visit precocious Delilah, the office kitty, is worth a visit by itself!

Dr. Herrera is an amazing vet whose expertise is evident in everything she does and in how she treats the dogs and cats who visit her. Teddy, a service dog, was the only vet that he felt comfortable with for years. We were happy that Dr. Herrera was the one to assist with his peaceful death and helped us through his loss. Today Dr. Herrera met Buddy, a cat, who warmed up to Dr. Herrera right away. She is the only vet I would trust with my best friends.

I visited several other vet offices before choosing Peninsual Center Pet Hospital. PCPH is very clean and has exceptionally friendly staff. Dr. Herrera is quite knowledgable about pets and made each visit a *near* perfect, painless experience. Every time Ive come in, I and my dog have been seen very quickly. Highly recommended.

IMO Dr Herrera is an exceptionally gifted surgeon and diagnostician. I learned this a few years ago when she took the time to research a complex case on my cat and then completed a spectacular repair of another vets rippled, lumpy wound sutures.I can recommend Dr. Herrera unconditionally.

horrible... crap the place is the worst please I beg you dont take your pets to this hellhole. they dont even take care of pets they just hurt them I have a 4 year old retriever that has never ever has had hot spot and he got them there so please dont hurt your pets. dont leave them there.
