Short Review: This place is fine if your dog is healthy and just needs routine checkups and you have a wellness plan. If it gets complicated be prepared for the worst, and just take your dog elsewhere to avoid headache. They will have NO CLUE what your dogs issue is, even on repeated visits. Detailed Review: On a recent visit in a long line, (not their fault, it was just busy, no worries) when I finally got to speak with the front desk clerk, I explained my issue, and she said, "Oh, well talk to CVS (the specialty clinic they use) about this." I explained that last time I was there for my dogs treatment we all decided, with the vet, that we werent going to have CVS do anything more because their follow up was really bad on a time sensitive case, and that the vet at Banfield would monitor blood levels from now on and determine appropriate treatment. She either didnt hear me, or ignored everything I said, and reiterated she would talk to CVS about it. When I explained the situation AGAIN, she literally said word for word, "Im too tired to deal with this, and I dont want to pretend like Im paying attention to you, Ill make a note of your dogs name and take care of it Monday." Really? Im here now, and I dont expect to be cast off especially with the kind of money Im paying monthly, and with each visit for my pets treatment. This is NOT acceptable customer service, let alone professional medical care for my pet, and I will be looking for treatment elsewhere. Ive been on the other side of the counter before, I know what its like when its busy, and when the day just gets exhausting. I was very polite with this front desk clerk, I said thank you, I tried explaining, never raised my voice (I have worked customer service for years, and honey catches more flies than vinegar) and nothing sank in - there is never an excuse to be rude, so I never will be, but my patience is completely gone for this process so Im telling everyone I can to just stay away.

Dr. Stevens and the vet tech Ariana were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and were delicate handling my kitty cat. Ive been shopping for a clean, friendly, and competent vet for a couple of years now, and after my visit today I am extremely impressed with Banfield!! I used to go to the Humane Society of San Bernardino and Loma Linda Animal Hospital to save a little bit of money, but those places were unsanitary, money hungry, rude, and incompetent! Banfield charges a bit more, but trust me, it is worth every penny to get their excellent care. If you love your pet bring them here!!

I would not recommend wasting time even calling this vet office. i asked for a price quote and got put on hold, 10min later i was asked again how i could be helped..upon replying "its still me on hold" the lady replys very rudely" im not the one who put you on hold, im not the same woman, what can i help you with today?!" very rude and not nice when she replied. hence the review..the staff here is rude and probably a good indication of the experience they provide.

Last Sunday, October 4th my 16 yr old Daughter and I made the painful decision to put our 14 year old Chow-Chow to rest. We knew she was in a great deal of pain and needed to be set free. The Staff at Banfield Pet Hospital at 595 E Hospitality Ln, San Bernardino, CA 92408 took so much time and compassion in helping us through that emotional time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart in helping us in helping my four legged baby.

Although Dr. Stevens and the receptionists were really nice, the tech came across as extremely judgmental, short, and rude. I brought in a dog that isnt mine that I saw needed medical treatment and was treated like trash despite doing everything he needed. Maybe she didnt know the backstory, but regardless you shouldnt treat clients in this manner.

"Horrible experience, I was told could not get prescription medicine for my sick dog until her doctor came back from vacation, or have to make appointment and bring her to be seen again and get prescribed! I paid the wellness plan for 3 years, what a waste of money!!
