My husband was at Vibra in the ICU for 10 days after a motorcycle accident left him with 13 broken bones, a punctured lung and a head injury. The first night 2 hours after being transferred from a trauma hospital I went in to find his feeding tube was not hooked up to nutrition, and he was only on 1 pain medication (not the 2 he was supposed to have) drip - but the pump was stopped so he wasnt getting any. I asked for the nurse (which was an LPN, not an RN as I was led to believe), his nurses aide (who told me she was his cna and what did I want? Also I was told the ratio was 1 aide to 2 ICU patients - closer to 10). I finally asked for Dr Roh the physician on for the night. He told me he was on a drip (which mysteriously started working when he left), and he was on too much medication anyway. Then he told me he was responsible for the whole hospital, as if I was wasting his time. The second night I got into an argument with Dr Roh on whether my husband needed a nicotine patch - and as he walked away said, Well, youre not getting it." (I did get that taken care of the next day with another dr). Dr Roh is very rude and disrespectful and is on a serious power trip. He only cares that the beds are full and money is coming in - but doesnt want to be bothered. My husband did get out of bed before he was ready to walk and tried to go to the restroom by himself - there was an alarm on the bed and it took them so long to get there that he was at the bathroom door before they came in. And they were angry at him! I must add that he was right in front of the nurses station. The last 24 hours he was there, I put him to bed at 9:30pm, and he was still there the next evening when I got off work. No trips to the bathroom, no physical therapy, no occupational therapy, no shower, no sitting up in the chair (as they were too busy to have him up and around) - he sat in bed for the whole 24 hours. One positive - their respiratory therapists are AWESOME. I wish I had seen these reviews before, but maybe this will help someone else. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

My mom was in Vibra and Vista View (same building, somehow a different hospital?) from early November to mid-January. She was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, which meant she had basically no muscle control and needed assistance with everything. While at Vibra we met and worked with some amazing RNs and CNAs but also some very inadequate staff. Among my biggest complaints were: inconsistency in therapy and care (especially wound care); confusion around medications and treatments (including the time her anti-depressant was changed without consent or explanation, and especially since leaving Vibra, as they put her on meds that she did not need to be on); and lack of communication. My single biggest complaint, though, regarded her treatment at night. She was lucky that my dad and I were able to visit her nearly every day during the day but could not spend time with her at night. When the staff would come in to turn and clean her (since she couldnt turn or clean herself) they would either ignore her requests to do so safely or minimize her concerns. When we brought this up with every level (from RN, charge nurse, heads of patient care, all the way to the CEO) it seemed like they wanted to do something, but the very next night she would be turned in an unnecessarily rough manner. EVEN WORSE, staff would stand outside her door at night and gossip, or talk about how "guess its time to go in and hurt her." I have no idea how those kinds of people could work in such a critical field. If it werent for the handful of good people we encountered I would give them a lower rating.

My relative was here for two months before we pulled them out. The nurses are uneducated and lazy. They ignore and mistreat their patients. We had numerous meetings with management but nothing was done. I wouldnt put my dog in this facility. Its dirty, smells and I witnessed so many HIPPA violations that I cant believe this place is still in business. I cannot stress enough how bad this "hospital" is. I had to make numerous surprise visits to check on my relative and the nurses acted inconvenienced, rude and uncaring. My relative started choking on food one afternoon and we pushed the call button at least 3 times and no one came. When I went out to the nurses station, three of them were sitting there gossiping. If we complained, they took it out on the patient. After I politely expressed my concerns, one of the nurses called me a rude name as she walked away. You know its really bad when one of their own doctors agreed with our concerns about the nursing staff. My family is so disgusted by the treatment of the staff and this facility that weve decided to escalate the issues we witnessed and our relative suffered through. It is the worst of the worst.

My husband is currently there and I hate every minute of him being there. He has a bad infection and is in constant pain and needs around the clock care for his leg to make sure the infection doesnt spread. His nurse calls go unnoticed and the nurses do nothing but stand around the hallways gossiping. I hardly ever see them work on other patients because their lights are and calls are going constantly as well. The place smells bad, the bathrooms and bedrooms are dirty. The heaters and ACs are a joke. Their food they give to their patients is cold and under cooked. This place is bad in a few areas of the hospital. However, there are nurses there that give me high hopes.

I went in for an outpatient procedure in May and the staff in this department were EXCELLENT!! This procedure was very simple and quick, and like any trip to the hospital...nerve-racking! The staff was amazing, funny, knowledgeable and friendly. Im going in for the other hip on Thursday and am completely comfortable and not at all nervous. I found the facility to be clean, quiet and comfortable and when a visitor brought a crying baby into the waiting area disrupting recovering patients they handled it quietly, gently and respectfully! Thanks for taking such great care of me...see you Thursday!

My overall experience with vibra hospital was very good. The nurse staff met my needs as an issue by issue basis. I enjoyed the idea that I had an RN and a CNA to reach out to. I even N received special attention from the directors of a few departments and even the head of the hospital itself. I was able to heal as quickly a physical possible and had a very good relationship with all the staff. I have no complaints.

This I would have to say is one of the worst hospitals I have seen with any sort of care of patients. Not only do they improperly care for their patients, it is as well disgusting. For a hospital you would think it would be a MUCH cleaner environment. I personally feel that this establishment should be shut down, after months of my grandmother being misdiagnosed and malnourished.
