I had a horrible experience with Dr. Shalmi with my dental procedures. I wouldnt call him a Dr. anymore. He is interested in only in taking advantage of peoples money. The more he drilled my teeth, the more money he got from my dental insurance. I started my six veeneers in May , 2018. Today is the middle of August and my teeth are not even done yet. The first tie he installed the veneers in my mouth they looked fake and not fitting to my face. It looked like fake, white, plastic teeth. The veneers did not properly fit my gums. The bridge that he did for me on he left side gave me a big hole and I got infected. My gums were red and swollen. The food came was stuck in side the bridge causing bad breath. Last Thursday, August 10th, I have another appointment with him. He is supposed to remove my front teeth and redo them again. He did not show up for my appointment. I was waiting for one hour and he called his Medical assistant and he told her to do anasthesia to my front gum and remove my front teeth. Would believe that a dentist would do this to a patient???????????? This is the last visit that I will see him. He was a no show. So, I went the same day to another wonderful doctor. Her office open but she had a patient. She kept her office open in order to do my teeth properly. She was in shock when she saw my teeth. Finally, I found the right doctor. Please I urge you to never use the service of Dr. Shalmi if you want to proper work on your teeth!!!!!!! Anyone who got damaged teeeth in Dr. Shalmi please contact me and we do group lawsuit.

Receptionists were friendly, but that doesnt make for a good dental experience. Went in for new dentures and the person doing the impression argued with the dentist about how to do it, then had an attitude and only held the stuff in with one finger - result was they didnt fit properly, but instead of taking a 2nd impression they tried to just change the angle of the teeth. I was told to come in on a Thursday and they would be ready - came in and they were not. Rescheduled the following Tuesday at 11. Waited 20 minutes to be let into the building since no-one was there, sat in waiting room 2 hours to be told to come back at 3, came back at 3 and waited again 1/2 hour to be told I had to come back the next week. They said Dr. would come in Monday morning for this but when I got there the office was locked up tight. Now I have no teeth, no appointment. Left a voicemail. Their "emergency" number went to a cell phone whose mailbox was full. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Horrible Experience - If you are having a severe toothache, dont add to your woes. This is absolutely the last place one needs to come to. I had a mild pain in the gums and wanted to have it checked out. The moment I went to their clinic, they decided to take all sorts of x-rays. The doctor came over and did not communicate much at all. He decided to go ahead with an extraction (even without informing me). On top of it, the office is unethical. They fraudulently put back dated claims on my insurance to make the most of my insurance amount. None of the staff were helpful in this regard. This experience has surely left a bad taste in my mouth. Please stay away!

I was stupid enough to go here for two years - over that time I had a root canal go bad which turned in to a implant - I had no front tooth for almost a year - and now two years later the implant is coming off - the dentist is from nyu but a bit of a jack of all trades - three chairs constantly working on different patients and never ever sat me down and talked about my teeth or what was wrong - Ive never written a bad review about anyone but this is the worst dentist ever - avoid and find a place that earned the good reviews

Dr. Shalmi and his staff are excellent, convenient, and accommodating. The office is clean and beautiful. I have been a patient of Dr. Shalmi for more than 17 years. He is very knowledgeable and attentive. He is caring and takes his time with each patient. Best dental experience!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is horrible. 1) This place is not clean 2) Their English is terrible 3) I have now called 9 separate times regarding an outstanding bill and have yet to have the issue resolved. 4) DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GO HERE FOR SERVICE

WORSE DENTIST IN THE WORLD!! was told i needed root canals and didnt. Went in to get fillings was told I needed braces. WORSE PLACE. not even worth it for cleaning!
