ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. After an hour and a half of waiting while the techs held my partners ID and insurance card hostage, she was called back only to be told she was too large to receive X-rays here. We watched two DOZEN other patients be taken back, many who arrived after we did, and then she gets humiliated and embarrassed by the workers. The x-ray tech or even the registration worker could easily have informed us early on that the equipment wouldnt hold a person of size. However, this "outdated equipment" excuse is often thrown around without reason. On the off chance that there was actual evidence to back the claim up, there was NO REASON to keep someone who is obviously in chronic pain (multiple x-ray orders issued by a rheumatologist) waiting that long only to be turned away. We were then told to go to another location where we could WAIT AGAIN. No one offered to call head to ensure the equipment would be adequate; no one offered to ensure we wouldnt have to wait another 2 hours to be seen. Unhelpful, embarrassing, and infuriating experience on all levels. Shame on you, Bloomingdale Radiology Center. There is a right way to deal with people of size, and you do it with compassion in a timely fashion so no time is wasted. We will never return to this location, and its because the employees here are even less accommodating than the equipment.

Arrived at the center at 08:05 for an 08:30 appointment. Receptionist told me to sign-in in appointment book ant have a seat to be called soon. Several other clients (about 12) came in after me and all filled out paperwork and returned them to the clerk. At around 8:30 I noticed some of the folks that ca in after me were called in to get their procedures done. At 9:00 am I ask the clerk if there was any issue as to why other folks that came after me were called in. At this time she asked my name and look in their system and simply said "sorry here is some paperwork to fill out before we can see you" that meant that I was going to wait until all other people that came in were seen. another 2 to 3 hours. Dismal customer service and courtesy. DO NOT USE

If I could leave zero stars I would. Of course they dont take appointments for X-rays. So you would think only taking walk-ins for X-ray they might have a plan for efficiency. Wrong. After an hour of waiting just to be called to finally get my ID and insurance, I asked how much longer it would be before my 5 year old would be seen- there were 6/7 people still ahead of him still. An older couple said they had already been waiting an hour and a half and were still in the waiting room. Why not take appointments if people are waiting for hours and hours at a time? Not to mention the staff is rude, clearly make comments about occupants and then all stare and laugh, no people skills or organizational abilities. Poor excuse for an imaging center.

This is the WORST Tower Radiology ever! Staff is NOT friendly or helpful! They sit behind their desks and talk about the patients and its more making fun of them. Especially the Saturday shift! I came in with a broken leg to pick up some contrast for a upcoming CT scan I was having, and there wasnt a seat in the house to sit down so I was going to just stand. The front desk lady very rudely told me I was not allowed to stand there and never offered to help me to find a seat. On crutches with a clipboard in hand I had to find a seat as they sat behind their desks laughing and making fun of their patients! I think this whole office needs a staff change immediately!! The rudest place I have EVER BEEN!

I concur with some of the others! Not very good experience on my last visit! Although most of the time the wait has been long. But on my last visit, topped it off. I stopped in on a Saturday for an x-ray and one of the girls behind the counter was very very rude. POOR customer service skills! Please either train them or relieve them. I am now willing to travel a little further to get better customer service after that experience. Hadnt read these reviews prior to, but Its good to see another post in regards to your Saturday young ladies at the front desk!

I have tried for a WEEK to get a call back to schedule an appointment and no one will call back from central scheduling. When you talk to someone from the actual location they are not helpful at all. They cant schedule an appointment and even told me they have to call the same number and sit on hold to reschedule an appointment. If this is the best that Tower Radiology can do they should revamp their business model and actually try to help people schedule an appointment.

I was there 2 weeks ago, signed in at 9am. Yes the place was busier than Ive ever seen. Ive been coming here since 2006. No appt can be giving for this special xray, that they have 1 machine in the place. At 1030am it was my turn, the tech asked me to sit outside the room. Then was informed that my wait would b another hour to 2 hours of a wait. So Im on my way now to see if u can get this done. Ive fractured my knee cap. Send me good thoughts plz

Came here to get an X-ray for my wife. We have been in the waiting area for almost 2 HOURS!! Unacceptable. We will never come back to this location. We talked to the front desk and they said she is next. That was 30 minutes ago. Something drastic needs to change at this location for us to ever return. We are still waiting. Contemplating just leaving.

The staff were all professional, friendly, and helpful. The radiologist was awesome, and made me feel at ease and even laugh during what can be a rather embarrassing and uncomfortable procedure. I was in and out of their office in less than 30 minutes, counting paperwork, registration and procedure. I would definitely recommend this office. :)

I had a test done at this location. No request was made for payment at the time. No bill was sent. Ive just received a threatening letter from a collection agency they contracted. Apparently, an amount was due and they were either too unorganized or too lazy to contact the patient about it. Go to a professional practice.

Long long wait without any compassion or any information as to wait time. Front desk refused to speculate how long remaining wait was even after I had been waiting for an hour. Yuch. Avoid this location. The worse manifestation of institutional medical indifference.

Getting to talk to a rep in that office is impossible. Be ready to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes before somebody would answer. However, I have to say that the ladies are always very nice and helpful at least in my experience.

My bill was sent to collections. I was told after making several payments that I didnt make arrangements for a payment plan. So I was actively making payment and the bill was still sent to collections.
