Although Dr. Porras was very professional and clearly knew was he was doing when it came to performing my root canal, the office staff there is very impersonal and are really good at making you feel that they dont care about anything but your money. They will not take responsibility for their work and are quick to ignore you when you try to make them see reason. They performed my root canal in two sessions, three weeks apart. I already had a temporary crown in place that my general dentist made so when it was done they had to cement it back in place while. I was told they generally like to wait a week before the placing the permanent crown to make sure everything with the root canal is resolved. Well, they replaced my temporary crown and two days later it came off. I went back to have them re-cement it and they refused. They told me they didnt want the liability of replacing another dentists crown. They had already taken it off and replaced it twice, so their argument was weak at best. It was THEIR cement that didnt last more than 2 days. They told me to go back to my general dentist and they would have to re-cement it. (I did try that first, they were closed this week - another incredible turn of events) They still refused and told me to go to Walgreens or CVS and glue it down myself.
Bottom line: once you are done paying them, they are done with you. I wont be back there and would not recommend them to anyone unless you like being treated like a number

My wife went in for a simple teeth cleaning and was advised she would need to have a consultation and return for a cleaning. I was surprised, its a teeth cleaning, not heart surgery. Subsequent to the consultation she was advised that she needed a deep cleaning with scaling. To my wifes surprise she was given a invoice asking for $845, which was discounted from the normal $1,533 they would charge had we not had insurance. Seems crazy expensive, almost robbery. My wife is 33, non smoker and extremely healthy. Lets put that aside and assume that the prognosis was correct and she was in need of such a cleaning. After reading the invoice I notice the projected time per visit, of which she would need two, was just one hour each. When I called over to the office I was greeted by evelyn, a very nice woman. From there it went down hill quickly. They connected me with another woman, which was rude and quick to explain why my wife was being asked for $850. The only point is this, I walked away feeling hustled, as though it was their protocol to do whatever possible to increase revenue. I get that its a business, and profit is certainly a concern, but this went a bit too far. The balance of the conversation is not material, suffice it to say we will not being doing business with this firm. I imagine based on my interaction with this office that there will be more reviews substantiating a general theme within this dental practice.

If I could put a negative star I would. Had work by Dr. Flora and complained about the pain prior to any work on one tooth. Told me it needed a filling. Filled still had pain, then I needed a crown on that same tooth complained about the pain and asked about a root canal she said, I dont see anything. We will watch it. Then a month later pain was too much to handle with hot and cold. Then I need a root canal and a consult. Had root canal and consult and had to to have another crown. Then the crown cracked and still had issues. End up having it pulled. Tooth is gone now for over a year and still paying on the Care Credit for all the work on one tooth ending in over $5,000 of work and have nothing to show but a monthly bill. So guess what now. Another tooth she did a crown on above the tooth I had pulled now came off. Pain is back and she is no longer there. Wow! So now they charged me $60.00 to cement it back in. The warranty on the crown work is 1-2 years. It has been 2 years and 3 months. Then they tell me I am overdue for a cleaning. I complained and the office manager did not say a word to win me back or make anything right. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel that one star is to many!!! Went to this dental "corporation" without knowing that it was a corporate business. Now I should not have to say more, since I know from past friends what a corporation tries to pull off to make unnecessary repairs to your mouth. I had just had my teeth cleaned 2 months prior, so I knew what they told me was a $10,000.00 lie. Not saying that a couple of the issues they found are not correct, but $6000.00 was a scam. The deep cleanings at a $135.00 each tooth with insurance, when never before was this an issue. And de-sensitizing my teeth is using the correct toothpaste. I asked why would you charge me $$ for desensitizing my teeth, ready? Because you said that you had sensitive teeth. Yes, but every other dentists ask, "did you use the sensodyne toothpaste I gave you?" Just beware. Corporations have always had a bad reputation for charging more than necessary especially with the deep cleaning they try to con a patient. Good old dental floss, a water pin, peroxide & baking soda clean the gums so they can heal.

Have been to other dentist in the area and have had HORRIBLE, dishonest treatment. Have been looking for a good dentist and I didnt think any existed anymore. Gave this office a try, and so very HAPPY I did! Alicia ROCKS!!! the best hygienist I have ever encountered!! This is the first time in my life, after after having left a cleaning and I can see and feel a difference. My teeth both look and FEEL clean!! If you have been a victim of other dental practices in the area and need a new dentist/hygienist, I suggest giving this practice a try, you wont be disappointed. Alicia takes great pride in her work is professional, through, honest, and treats you like a VIP! A great experience and this comes from one who hates going to the dentist!

Staff seemed nice when I first went but when I called to change an appointment, I was told that I had already called and cancelled BOTH of my appts. - This obviously isnt the case...I know who Ive called and Im not a moron. I believe someone messed up in scheduling and then tried to blame me for cancelling. I have two appt cards that say different. The woman on the phone was rude and could not explain how my appts were cancelled other than saying I called them earlier today. Is this the twilight zone? Yes, I called you just now and you are telling me I called you earlier? NOPE. That makes no sense. Shame too, I liked the dentist, maybe she just needs to school her staff a tad better.

Ill start by saying this is a amazing office, you become a family member here the second you walk threw the door. They get you in right away they make you feel welcomed from beginning to end, Evelyn she sits right in front she is the best she ask you if you need anything like water or tea shes a loving person she worked with my insurance to get me in the office the very next day. Doctor Pérez is so gentile she made sure she told me what she was going to do before even touching me! I loved my assistant her name was Sarah she talked to me till the doctor came I felt safe and taken care of the hole time. Id recommend all my friends and family to go here THEY ARE AWSOME!
