I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME HERE AND MY LAST. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A DIFFERENT DOCTOR IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN HE STILL WORK THERE I WOULDNT HAVE CAME BACK. **Please read below** The first time I was here Its sad to say the hospital knew more of what was going on and they did the same procedures as this doctor did but they also listen to me. The medicine he prescribe me the first time was not going to help me. Unfortunately during the first time I had to go to the hospital related to the same issue but something else had came on top of that and when I explained to the er doctor of what this doctor had told me and prescribe me the Er doctor was shocked and put me on the proper medicine. **Second time My regular doctor who I see from time to time as needed was unfortunately booked today. I also called a few urgent care clinics and they were a little out of my price range due to me having dental work done just a few days ago. When someone had told me he didnt work there I said even more perfect I can also save a little money. Everyone has their own opinion and also we all have different experiences with places and unfortunately I received unprofessional care not just by the doctor again but I also heard the receptionist talking about me to another staff member. The staff member was only a few doors down which I do have great hearing by the way even when Im sick. She must of thought by whispering noone can here her (false). 15 minutes later had past by after finally the Dr. Arrived after the receptionist already had to call. The receptionist went to him also saying some stuff. At this point I felt uncomfortable being there and I said to myself in my head**I regret giving this place a second chance** The only reason WHY I came back to this place I WAS told by someone as I explained in the beginning I thought it was a DIFFERENT DOCTOR working there. All I could do is pray for this time to be better Im already here and had paid I always try to think positive. Now in the beginning she couldve offer another opinion expecially when I had told her my past experience instead she didnt. I dont work there and I dont know how there policy works. The receptionist I had today was THE FIRST TIME I SEEN HER. I will not put my personal business out there of why I was there. I had explained to him exactly my symptoms he couldnt even pin point anything all he said he cant prescribe me no antibiotics because they are all related to the penicillin family (lie) because Im allergic to penicillin which yes I am but I also informed him that my doctor has prescribe me antibiotics in the past so not all antibiotics are related to penicillin family. THE DR SAID can you call and find out what your doctor had prescribe you instead call your pharmacy. So much for a doctor he told me there nothing he can do all he said was it was a sinus congestion then allergies kept coming up with different stuff I said no I caught something my son has the same thing then he ask if I was pregnant wow anyways **HE DID IN FACT PRESCRIBE ME** what my doctor prescribes me so they lied right there. I will have to wait until Monday to see my doctor who can properly diagnose me with whats going on. Today lesson learned on my part ASK first. They collected money from me and he quickly looked at me and then out the door I went. **I know they will write there feed back and I will not go into war with them...... **However I am entitled to my own opinion and experience I had with you. If you write a feed back giving out my personal information without my permission I will go higher up which I dont give you permission to say any of my business know the laws about HIPAA. **The only reason they now dont want me back (which I wasnt planning on going back there) is because I stated the truth and now the truth is exposed along with other complaints. GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE WHO PUT THERE CONCERNS AND LIFE IN HIS HANDS HE DOESNT CARE OR LISTEN.

Good Review: Several Months ago when I became plagued by a chronic sinus infection I returned to Melbourne Medical center walk-in clinic mostly because it is one of only two moderately affordable walk-in clinics near my home. As usual the front office staff were professional and courteous. I was checked in quickly. I was very lucky on that occasion to be seen by Dr. Canon. She was very understanding of my condition, advised me to use saline sinus washes (over the counter product- neilmed) and prescribed 3 weeks of amoxicillin to clear my sinus/ upper respiratory infections. I have since then nursed myself past cold/flu and prevented sinus infections by following Dr. Canons advice. But recently I have started working full time, and my daughter has started child care. Stressful for the whole family! and with the weather, stress and increased exposure to germs; of course we became ill. Bad Review: As I do not frequently need medical attention I returned to the Melbourne Medical walk-in clinic. HOPING I would see Dr. Canon, but now I know I should have asked who was on duty. Because I had the distinct misfortune of being "treated" by Dr. Heshmati. I knew I was in for a disappointment because I have "seen" him before (which on two occasions- during one was pregnant- ended in me crying and begging for azithromycin because I know short term amoxicillin doesnt work for me). So here I am; after battling congested sinuses and lungs for a week and half, until my left ear became infected and painfully filled with fluid; and this "doctor" tells me I need rest and soup. Being raised as a polite young lady I bit my tongue and let it go. (especially with my toddler squirming on my lap, in my very exhausted condition, I wasnt up for an argument) He prescribed me one week of amoxicillin. In my weak, sick, and exhausted condition, I simply accepted defeat. So here I am, a week later, 2 days after finishing my week of "soup, rest, and amoxicillin"; I still only have partial hearing in my left ear, with the pain and pressure returning, am beginning to lose hearing in my right ear, and still have bright green, noxious- smelling/tasting, mucus coming from my left sinus. Oh, and the ever joyous discomfort of a vaginal yeast infection that can occur as a side effect for women who take antibiotics. What am I to do? Try to call the clinic and complain? demand a refund of my $60? demand a free follow-up so that I can be maltreated even more by Dr. Heshmati? Well met me see, I will read the google reviews and see that another patient was treated similarly by this doctor, right down to the "soup" line; and the clinic responded by bashing her. Lets see if they respond by insulting me too.

I am new to the Melbourne area and decided I would come to this walk-in clinic after reading mostly positive reviews online. I am disappointed to say that my visit here was the most unprofessional and inefficient experience I have encountered in a medical setting. I called yesterday around noon asking if they took my insurance. They did, and the receptionist told me to come in at 4 pm. I told the receptionist that I had class at 5 pm that I had to attend, and she assured me that I would absolutely be in and out by then. I arrived to the office at 3:35 pm, giving myself plenty of time to fill out paperwork. The receptionist made me pay before I saw the doctor, which I found odd. After waiting for almost an hour without being seen, I explained to the receptionist once again that I needed to be at class at 5 pm, and asked her if I should come back tomorrow. She adamantly assured me that the doctor would be available if I just waited another 10 minutes, and I complied because I had already paid and thought maybe they were having an "off-day." Long story short, I find out that there was not a doctor on the premises while I was waiting, AND that the receptionists knew this when I asked at 4:30 pm if I should leave and come back the next day. The doctor was at the hospital working, which is totally understandable, but extremely irresponsible of the staff to keep people waiting when they were well aware of this. I was seen by the doctor at 5:45 pm, after waiting 2 hours, and I felt he did not do a sufficient job as he was in a rush to see all of the other unhappy patients. He told me to "drink water and soup and get some rest" after telling him about the extreme discomfort in my left ear. I completely understand that walk-in clinics can be hectic and understaffed, but my experience here was unlike anything I have ever seen. I felt like I was being lied to and it was made clear that the staff needs to be more transparent with their patients.I will not be coming back, and I will not be recommending this place to anyone. **EDIT: I am now reading other negative reviews and I find it EXTREMELY unprofessional that the office is replying and saying that these reviews are fake, erroneous, and etc. That is HORRIBLE customer service to refute and deny a patients review. Instead of making excuses, make CHANGES to provide better service to your customers.**
