Bay Arbor Dental Care removed the following review from their Facebook. Please view my experience below. Do NOT go here. Go to South Tampa Smiles. This office told me I have 2 cavities and need gum therapy. Went to South Tampa Smiles and I have zero cavities and do not need gym therapy. For my experience at Bay Arbor read below. I have gone to the dentist every 6 months my entire life. I have a handful of fillings from when Im a kid. Went to this office for my routine 6 month cleaning because Im new to Tampa. I told them as soon as I walked in the office and sat down that I have a bad filling that my old dentist has been watching since 2008, but nothing has changed in regards to a cavity forming and no pain. I knew it would show in the X-ray as it always does so I wanted to tell them up front. First they try to sell you on an oral cancer screening that is not covered by insurance. I said no. They left the room then came back in saying "oh well we decided we will offer this to you complimentary." Next then have you do some sort of X-ray machine that I have only done back when I had braces at the orthodontist. After that they take somewhere around 18 X-rays followed by putting a camera in your mouth and a screen in front of you. They point out all the stains on your teeth and to the untrained eye it is convincing its a cavity. They did measurments of my guns and called out 6s. Then they make you watch a dramatic video how youre going to die because of the bacteria seeping through your gums because you dont floss twice a day. They pulled a "front office" worker who is clearly a sales lady to price point and tell me I have 2 cavities and need gum therapy. When I said Im not interested the sales person asked why I wouldnt get the fillings and I said because I dont think I need them... I was just at the dentist 6 months ago and had no cavities and I have zero sensitivity or pain. After sitting there for 2 hours I finally asked if they were going to clean my teeth and they told me no because they might get infected. I missed 2 hours of work to leave that office without my 6 month cleaning. When I went to South Tampa Smiles I had zero cavities and they told me the "cavities" that Bay Arbor was showing me with their fancy camera are just stains and not sticky. When South Tampa did my gum measurements the highest they called out was a 4 and only twice. On top of all of this I called Bay Arbor and signed their release to have them send my X-rays to South Tampa Smiles. I sent the release via email and called a few days later to make sure they got it because South tampa hadnt received the X-rays yet. I reverified the email to send the release to with bay Arbor and sent it again. I even told them when my appointment with South Tampa Smiles was and that the X-rays must be there by then. When I arrived at my South Tampa appointment the X-rays were not there. Bay Arbor did send them the X-rays until I was leaving my south Tampa appointment.

The worst experience I have ever had anywhere. Lets start with the day I made the appointment I called about wisdom teeth extraction due to my upper right 3rd molar was causing me excruciating pain. went to the appointment 4 days later and the dentist said great I can just pull this tooth. Well had no idea they were pulling my tooth so I didnt bring the cash to the appointment. Well, when I made the appointment I asked if they do in house payment plans in case it was going to be more than I had she assured me they did. I get there and they tell me it is going to be 298.00 for the tooth extraction I said fine I can come drop off a check or pay by card in the am and they said they wouldnt do the procedure without payment up front. I then informed the VERY RUDE office manager of what I was told about in house payments and if they do that why cant they wait a day to get the full payment from me. She said I should find another dentist and that they dont do any payment plans, she then got even more rude. This is the poorest practice I have ever been to and their staff is improperly trained and all over the place. All the staff has different information and I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Too bad because I really like the doctor I feel bad she has such incompetent staff!

Absolutely love Dr. Molinari, all her staff and the Hygienist. I had neglected going to the dentist for quite some time because of previous experiences and unfortunately caused myself some issues. I went to see Dr. Molinari and she immediately put me at ease. Her entire staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. I was always told exactly what I needed to have done, how much my insurance would pay, and my responsibility. It made it so much easier to plan out treatments. The hygienist was so wonderful and friendly. She really went above and beyond. I was so pleased with how I was treated, I decided to take my kids, ages 10 and 3. They were previously seeing a pediatric dentist and very much disliked going. They both absolutely loved their visit. My 3yo actually asks to go back anytime we pass the office. Going to the dentist regularly is very necessary ( I learned the hard way) and something I avoided for a long time. It is such a relief to not only find a dentist I trust and really like, but the fact that the whole office is equally wonderful is such a bonus. Highly recommend!

First let me start by saying the office is very clean and nice. With that being said- I know how they can afford it. I went there b/c this office was closer to my new house and was told I had 7 cavities! I go to the dentist every 6 months and all my visits at my prior dentist was great- no cavities. I had 2 filled and it cost me $500! Before I got the "rest of the so called cavities" filled I went back to my prior dentist for a second opinion only to get a clean bill of health! I do not recommend this place at all. I still have tooth pain from the cavity they filled a year ago. But I guess thats what you get with a dentist fresh out of school.

I had not been to the dentist in many years. I got a flyer in the mail and looked at their reviews. I gave them a try and I am so glad I did. I had a ton of work to be done on several appointments. The staff is so caring and put you at ease. The fear of the dentist is no more. The doctor is awesome and considering all the work I needed, there was very very little pain during or after. I have recommended them to friends who were also very happy. I now go for maintenance to Kendra who does a phenomenal job! Her knowledge and expertise blew me away. This was one of the best choices I have made. You will not regret it!
