I have been a customer for more than 8 years, since I adopted my dog and cat. REcently I was fostering a dog, and also brought him here. The place is clean, and they are significantly more expensive than other vets in the area, however, my expectation is that that with that additional cost a certain amount of customer service will abound, particularly for long time patients. I became suspicious that they take a careless attitude when my dog had a dermatofibroma removed from her neck, and it became infected, despite my best care. Just recently, they are unable to accomodate a simple request for a refill on the same med that they always prescribe, when I bring her for a 200 dollar, 4 second visit. I understand that they need to make a buck, but it is impossible for me to bring my dog in right now bc of my work schedule, and they are being very unreasonable. I cannot help to think that it is motivated by concern for money, instead of the my dogs health. I would like to point out that I never miss an appointment, and have never made such a request. I plan to change over to Ivanhoe Veterinary clinic. It is just not a nice way to treat a long time patient, and it makes me feel like they have no relationship with me or my pet, just my money.

I really cannot express how wonderful the staff is at Downtown Pet Hospital. At this point Ive seen all of the doctors and techs and they truly care about my pups. We had to go to the pet emergency clinic last night and they called me before they even opened to check in on my sick dog and schedule him making sure he was cared for. Maybe the most tangible example of how much they care happened when I took on an elderly dog of a friend of a friend that turned out to be sicker than I thought. She had to be put down and the doctor and tech sat and cried with me. A couple weeks later I got a note from UFs vet research program saying they had made a donation on that dogs behalf. I really cannot recommend this office enough. Oh, and their prices are very reasonable too.

Per a recommendation from a friend, I took my dog there for his yearly checkup in the Fall of 2012. The reviews below are correct- the place is clean, the waiting room isnt overwhelmed with animals, and the staff is friendly. The price though, is not just a tiny bit more expensive than your typical (but still thorough) vet. From what I recall, his checkup, 2 run-of-the-mill vaccinations and blood work and a 6 month supply of flea/heartworm medication was just under $400. I understand that the price of medications and vaccinations vary, and some people will gladly pay a bit extra for a more pleasant experience but, I dont think that translates fairly into their bloated pricing.

Just a great place. So friendly and attentive. The staff was welcoming from the beginning and tended to our new little bundle of joy. The Vet was amazing and shared so much knowledge! I will never go anywhere else. This place is legit. They dont try to up sell you with a bunch of stuff you dont need. I read one negative review and am sorry for that person but I insist that you try this place for all your animal needs and judge for yourself! Cant thank the staff enough. I will be bringing my doggies next!

The staff has always been extremely helpful and polite, the doctors very knowledgeable and the technology used to track pet health and communications has been fantastic.We are always able to make appointments to fit our busy schedules and the service and communication are top notch. My wife and I highly recommend this veterinarian group to any Orlando residents looking for an accessible (and reasonably priced) health partner for their pets.

I called DT Pet Hospital because Rockwell started licking himself raw due to a flea problem. It was a holiday weekend and they were full. As I proceeded to make an appointment for the following Tuesday, I asked for advice on how to take care of the problem until then. The staff immediately made room for Rock and he was cured within the hour. A BIG THANK YOU to the compassionate folks at Orlando DT Pet Hospital.

The amazing team here saved my dogs life. She was suffering from a terrible infection and we were scheduling to have her euthanized later that day due to her suffering when when they offered to try surgery instead. She pulled through and is recovering well since then. What they did was a near miracle for our dog. Thank you, we will always be in your debt for granting us more time with our little one.

Their was no wait they brought me straight back to a room. The tech was very friendly and took great care of my kitten. The veterinarian was very knowledgeable and personable. They gave me more information then I would have thought to ask and the price was a quarter of the cost then surrounding vet hospitals. I would give them a 10 out of 5 stars and I will never go anywhere else again.

At first the location says high prices but it really wasnt. The staff is awesome and straight to point affordable with awesome and quick service. They even went the extra mile and clipped my dogs nails to a point where I couldnt myself while they had her asleep. Couldnt say more thank you Ruby is a happy dog again lol.

I love that when I walk in there arent a million dogs sitting in the waiting room. I also love that the staff is very helpful over the phone and in person. Their meds are a little more expensive than other pet clinics around town but their services are outstanding. Not to mention the Pet ID cards!

Dr. McCully has seen six of my sweet fur babies now and has always been amazing! She is very thorough and explains things on "my level." :) I have had a wonderful experience with my pets being operated on, being boarded and having check ups and vaccinations there.

Yes, they are a little more expensive than some on surgeries, but regular pet care is consistent and affordable. They truly love animals here, and treat them with love and care. They answer questions thoroughly and patiently. Being open on Saturdays is a lifesaver!
