What a joke this place is!! First place, it took me months to be able to speak with someone about being a new patient. You call during the time that they tell you to, but you can never get ahold of anyone! I finally was able to speak with someone, only to be told that I couldnt be a patient there because they have to look at household income, and my "roommate" (we are not married) makes too much money! His income has nothing to do with me, he pays his own bills and I pay mine! If I didnt have a roommate, I would be homeless, as I do not make enough money to pay rent! The person I spoke with on the phone tried to tell me that its a law in FL, that they have to look at the household income. I guess you have to be homeless and living on the streets before they will help you. Thanks, now I cant get medical care that I need!

This Clinic is a Community lifeline. They serve the many uninsured and underinsured residents of Escambia County. The doctors fall under the rules of a program ran by the State of Florida. Once a patient meets the State eligibility requirements, all medical care and medicine is given free of charge to their patients. All doctors, nurses, and support staff are volunteers.
