Dr. Meyerer and his team truly care about our animals. We have three dogs and a cat so we are regularly in the hospital for routine checkups, maintenance, and more serious treatments. I really appreciate that they are not always looking for an excuse to conduct expensive surgeries, but attempt to find alternative remedies. One of our dogs has a degenerative hip problem and at one time was almost a 3-legged dog as she was suffering from so much muscle atrophy. I thought she would lose it. However, with medicinal treatment (unavailable sadly to humans - only to animals!) she is now so fit and happy its truly a miracle. That is just one example of the exemplary treatment this hospital has given our animals over the last 10-plus years.

Used to be good. Now they over charge more then "Youngs Animal Hospital" on Highway 50. Dont expect to pay under $150 anymore from these people for a simple check-up & a few shots (For a single adult cat). Not to mention the shots or medicine didnt help. They told me to come back within 2 weeks if he was still sick for a prescription and charged me another $8. Good luck with your visit, Mine total ended up costing $166.. Their out to get every penny they can from you. Such a shame to see what was a good place coming up go to waste. (Completely unsatisfied.) Wont be coming back.

I appreciate so much about Garden Street Animal Hospital. Mostly the availability and attention they provide to offer such a pleasant visit. I have never felt pushed to buy products or services as I have at other places, and always felt it is about the genuine care of my dog. Dr Meyerer also is understanding and has taken calls to make sure I know my options and have the knowledge to make certain decisions.
