I came to visit my aunt after having surgery. I am from out of town and not familiar with this hospital. Upon entering the lobby, I went to the information desk. No one was at the desk. The information portal was not working. There was a phone on the desk but no instructions. After about 10 minutes, a lady came to the desk and put down her personal items and turned to go to the bathroom. I waited an additional 7 minutes on her to return. I then nicely asked her the room number for my aunt and she responded, " You didnt read the sign did you?" I turned to look for a sign and there was not one. I started that I still didnt see a sign to read. She said, "Oh my, I must have forgotten to turn it around! I still have 10 minutes left of my lunch, but how can I help you?" I finally got the information I needed but t his really put a bad taste in my mouth about this hospital. Many times your first impression of a place is made right there at the information desk or reception area.

Im sitting in the waiting room going on 3 hours with severe swelling and pain in my left leg. I told the young lady that checked me in I had a large cyst behind that knee and with the swelling and pain I wondered if it had ruptured. She glanced at my leg and said " doesnt look like you have a cyst". When I was called into triage the nurse barely asked was wrong. I was in there less than 2 minutes and pushed. It was then I realized she never took my blood pressure. Not wanting to say that to her I went up and asked what my blood pressure was thinking she would remember. To my su prise she said 120 over 79. That was amazing since it wasnt taken and my Dr wants to put me on meds because its been over 90 and higher for years. Ive had a very few good experiences here but never left a review. However, this time takes the cake. Its now been 2+ hours and Im still sitting here about to scream in pain.

Been waiting with my 12 week pregnant wife whos been experiencing symptoms of Preeclampsia, numbness on her entire right side, blurry vision and severe chest discomfort. Blood pressure is 178-122. Came in at about 4pm with ER waiting room half full. Its now 7pm with the same people still sitting here with many more still "checking in". Some have left and no one has actually gone back where the doctors, nurses are. Triage keeps checking people in and now ER waiting area is full. After spending the last 8 years in Kingsland GA this hospitals ER is in sad shape. Update. Left Brunswick ER at 715pm and drove to kingsland arriving at 750pm. Within 5 minutes of arriving here my wife is now in the back rooms of the ER. So much better. Went to vending machines in waiting area and no one is here.

I am from greenville sc and i was here visiting my mother and had a very severe urinery tract infection and peeing blood i was in so much pain that i couldnt even walk i was not attended to for more than 6 hours i had to suffer stuck in the bathroom in horrible pain and all the hospital told me was be quite and deal with it until the doctors were available.I was at the hospital from 2pm until 9 pm just suffering in the hospital bathroom and when i screamed for help i was told to be quiet or leave. When i was finally seen at 9 pm at night it only took 3 hours and i was sent home with meds. All i can say is it wont be long before someone dies in the waiting room just trying to get help. WORST HOSPITAL EVER next time i will just take the chance and go to savanna for medical help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went into the ER short of breath. I was sitting waiting to go get triaged and was taken directly to the back. I was taking to a room and before I cld get out the wheelchair , I was taken to get an ex-ray. The nurse came right in and hook me up to machines and another person was there to give me a breathing treatment for 2hrs.. I have not experience such efficient and professional service it made me feel completely comfortable. The doctor came in and ordered test and it was a waiting game after that. I actually was their last Sunday and had a three and a half wait. When I got to the back it was like a max of ten min. So Im extremely pleased with my care and the results.. Tuesday I can review my results all is well good job everyone

Went in ER with chest pains and heart murmurs was seen right away. Staff was top notch but the doctor acted as if I was nothing. He didnt listen to anything I had to tell him, before I could even get words out my mouth he would cut me off like he already knew what the problem was. After a hundred test done he comes to a conclusion it was inflammation of my chest. Gives me shot for pain which I did not want sends me out the door. Well now months later I will be seeing a heart specialist soon to actually try to fix the problems. I mean I cant even lay down without my my breathe being taken away from my heart skipping away.

They keep changing the name and getting increases in reimbursement for such. They keep expanding, but until they change the staff and some physicians and their poor training and feckless decisions and maltreatment toward patients corrected and get their nurses ANCC credentialed, nothing will ever change! This is not even as good as when it was Brunswick Hospital. This hospital infected me with MRSA during a partial knee replacement! Results were 3 more surgeries to the same knew, almost another month in the hospital and home health care with home ,antibiotics Iv PICC at a uncovered cost to me of over $ 2200.00!

I had two babies here with good experiences both times so I would recommend the maternity center. Unfortunately, my husband had outpatient surgery and had an awful experience! The surgeries were very overbooked so everything was pushed back. No one told us this until after I finally went looking for someone after 4 hours and my husbands IV had run out. He was taken back at 5:10 for a surgery that had been scheduled for 12:30. With the exception of the nurse anesthetist and the recovery area nurse we were basically ignored until after I complained! Thats the opposite of good customer service! So disappointed.

This hospital system is the worst thing to happen to healthcare in this area since the leech. In fact, Im not sure this location doesnt advocate it as a curative. Since my primary care physicians practice was bought out by the hospital, my previous satisfaction with care has been replaced with incredible bureaucracy, inept execution of basic care, testing, and treatment, to go along with an administration as incompetent as the one parodied in the TV show "Scrubs". Apologies to the healthcare workers who work here and genuinely care about patients and labor under a Soviet era oligarchic system.

My mom was hit by a rouge beach tent that was blown by the wind. We immediately went to the nearest place where they actually had a doctor. As soon as we got in, the accepted her. But as soon as she got back, they gave her a ct scan and a neck x-Ray. But as soon as she was done, she was put in a room and was giving no medicine for pain at all. They made her wait for a very long time, then the doctor came back and treated her as nothing has happened at all. The customer service here is bad and they did not respond well to my moms injury. She ended up with a concussion.
