Typically, I dont leave reviews... However, my experience with Aspen Dental (Kennesaw) was so unorganized and unprofessional that I felt the need to write one. I schedule a "cleaning" almost a month ago with Aspens call center at no point was I informed as a new patient that I would need to make a separate appointment for a cleaning... because apparently your first appointment is just a rushed X-ray and exam. Only for the doctor to give me some wack explanation "that most dental office schedule the exam separate from the cleaning"... Lie! Ive been to several Dental Chains i.e. Great Expression and Dent 1st... that schedule them all in one! If anything they at least explain thoroughly and correctly what you can expect as a new patient. Also, the same doctor told me no one looked up my insurance before I sat in his chair... who does that? I specifically asked when making my appointment if my insurance was accepted... and I was told that this information would be verified before my appointment. Not to mention, they cancelled my initial appointment last minute because the doctor would be unavailable.. No problem! However, the call center was the one relaying the information and had no clue why I needed to reschedule. Just like the call center clearly has no clue how to handle new patient intake... but clearly everyone at Aspen Dental is on their on agenda... but like the doctor said he does things "differently" which mean he probably should be handling his own calls and not the call center... I will not even discuss how they rushed my cleaning and how I had to do my own flossing afterwards.. but I guess that just another thing they do "differently"

This is a new office, so I expect things will change as they get more established, but Ive had three visits now about a filling that broke and Im still in pain. The first visit, I get there and after waiting over an hour and a half to see the dentist, he pokes the hole a few times making it ache badly and then tells me, yep, youll have to come back to get that filled. I asked why I couldnt get it filled today and he said he had to leave. The staff knew the dentist wasnt going to fix my tooth, but didnt tell me when I scheduled the appointment or at check in. My second visit the dentist filled the tooth. Yet, it kept aching. I gave it a few days and called back for another appointment. I got a different dentist this time and he told me the tooth was not filled on the side where I was getting pain from, and he didnt want to try to fill it again. He told me I could schedule another appointment if I wanted to talk to the other dentist when he was back in the office. I told him I just wanted the tooth fixed so I was not in pain all the time, and he then told me I would need a root canal procedure or a crown, but that he doesnt do either procedure. The office staff is friendly and wonderful, but Im not sure I can go back, or recommend them.

I just want to share my amazing experience here. I called them with a broken tooth at 1030 this morning, and I am already home having had it removed. I set a noon appt, they called me back, said to come in earlier if I could due to an opening. I got there at 1130, and was out by 1230. I had never been there before and they took amazing care of me. The doctors and staff all have amazing personalities and treated me so well and very peofessionally throughout the whole process. My usual dentist wouldnt even touch my tooth, but they, on my very first visit, examined and removed it without question. 5 stars all around. They have a new patient for life, and they are very affordable. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Way to go Aspen Dental!!!

Just moved to Georgia. Really nervous. Choosing a dentist is like choosing a mechanic. A dentist can screw up your mouth if your not careful. Extremely professional. After they explained in detail what they will be doing they gave me multiple options and gave their own suggestions on what should be done. This ended up saving me tons. The actual x ray and check up was free, which at a normal business could turn up to be lie. Wonderful staff. Although I got some bad news they managed to make my experience a wonderful one. After speaking with multiple companies it turns out this company will be saving me some money! Great place and I think I found my new Georgia Dentist!

Except for a long wait, my first experience with Aspen Dental was very positive. My appointment was at 2:00 pm, but I did not leave until 4:30. Hopefully, this was just a one time thing and other appointments will move more quickly. Everyone was very nice, and the cleaning was not as long and tiresome as my previous dentist. I left feeling good and not wrung out. I switched to Aspen Dental because I thought I had been getting unnecessary dental work (caps) from my previous dentist, with bills totaling over $2000. At Aspen Dental, I was told my teeth were fine and just needed cleaning.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They take your money and leave you locked out during office hours. Its 9:15 am on a Friday, and we cant get into the office - my sister appointment was at 9 am. 20 minutes and no one has even walked through an office that opens at 8 am. The phone just rings - there isnt even a voice mail to leave a message. No one is in the office. And there was no communication about any emergencies or office hour impacts. No emails. No calls. Relieved two confirmations for 9am on Friday ( one of which was sent on thursday). And no one in the office. This place is a scam.

My husband recently finished his cancer treatments and with Gods Grace, they were a complete success and after 6 months without chompers he can finally get new teeth. We explained that to the folks at Aspen and they are doing everything to get things done as fast as possible. They were trying to get the equivalent of 3 appts done in 1 day for us, but when he got too worn out from sitting in the chair, they understood and rescheduled for the next morning.. Our 1st appt was Mon and he should be all done on Fri. Thank you, Aspen Dental!!

From a dental perspective, it was just fine. I like the hygienist and I like the dentist, and I feel like I was well-cared for. I did NOT like the fact that I showed up for a 2pm appointment at 1:40, and I joined four other folks waiting outside a locked door! The office apparently all went to lunch, but did not leave a note, or any indication when or if they would return. The hours both there on the door and on the website list no lunch hours, and there was no answer on the telephone, nor response to a voicemail. VERY unprofessional.

I was amazed at how comfortable everyone made me feel. As a person who had a very traumatic experience with a dentist at a very young age, Ive stayed away from Dentist at all cost and to my on detriment. Yesterday I went in for an Evaluation of major work that needs to be done to get my mouth healthy and the entire staff made me feel very special. I will be starting my dental work in 2 weeks and I am truly looking forward to it.
