Have been going to Dr, McWilliams for 14 years. She is the sweetest vet ever! Have had dogs all my life, so have been to many a vet over the years. In my opinion, she and her staff nearly walk on water! For example, my pittie mix girls got in a fight. One of them was badly torn up. Took her to Dr McWilliams who took her right in. Worked on her for hours, including surgery. They blew on her with a hair dryer and warmed blankets in the dryer to put over and under her to keep her warm. She and her entire staff stayed late to ensure that Chloe was stabilized enough to transfer to an emergency night clinic overnight. Even the front desk manager stayed and gave us water and comfort. She wasnt in good enough condition to bring home. She was readmitted to Dr McWilliams today at 8 a.m. They worked on her some more, did more tests and watched over her. They walked her trying to get her to urinate. Her kidney function tests are perfect. They gave her shots for antibiotics and anti-nausea meds as she was vomiting. They again called the overnight clinic and told them she was coming back and gave them an update on her condition. Once again in the morning we will be taking her back to WGAH and the angels that work there. They are fighting to save her life and giving her not just A-1 care; but love and affection too while theyre at it. I couldnt ask for a better group of people or a more knowledgeable group to care for our pets! She has pulled more than one of our animals from the brink over the years. Go somewhere else? Not in million years!!!! God only puts so many angels on earth and the vet and staff at Walnut Grove Animal Hospital are a group of them. Take your beloved pets there for the best care anywhere!

I needed a new vet for my two dogs after moving to Loganville, and Im so glad I found this place! Ive had some pretty bad experiences with vets before, and Im always a little nervous taking my furkids somewhere new, but everyone at Walnut Grove has been absolutely wonderful. It has always been easy to get an appointment for either one of my dogs, often the same day, and its never a ridiculously long wait in the office. The office staff is always cheerful and friendly, and Dr. Hancock is hands-down the best vet my dogs have ever seen. I have never seen him without a smile on his face, even when my insane basenji mix is scream-barking at him at the top of her lungs, or when my terrified pit bull is pancaked on the floor and shaking like a chihuahua. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions, without being condescending. I have never felt rushed in the least, although I know he has plenty of other patients to see. Contrary to our last vet, I have never once felt like Dr. Hancock has pressured me into spending an insane amount of money for something when there is a reasonable, more affordable alternative. In fact, hes actually been the one to bring up the cheaper alternative (as long as it still does the job) on several occasions. Vet care is expensive no matter where you go, but the prices here are very reasonable, and I feel that Dr. Hancock is 100% honest about what is best for my dogs. I couldnt be more pleased with the care my girls receive here.

Ive been bringing family pups to Walnut Grove Animal Hospital for about 5 or 6 years now. Last year, I brought home MY first furbabe, and there is no one else I trust with Luna! Dr. Dawn DeLong is so kind, warm, gentle, and thorough, and addresses all my concerns as a pet mom at length, which I love! Im never made to feel inadequate or uneducated; in fact, I feel as though the staff is excited to share new information with clients about opportunities or options for their pets. As I brought Luna home at 8 weeks, her vaccinations, spay, and annuals have all been done at WGAH. They are SO gentle, great about reporting back and keeping in touch when she is away from me, and I truly feel the compassion the vets AND support staff/vet techs have for every animal that comes in! The support staff is phenomenal (particularly Lisa and Cole, as they are usually the ones I speak with on the phone). They answer questions freely, make suggestions, and advise when able, and consult with Dr. DeLong when they arent sure. They greet Luna and I each time we come, they handle my insurance paperwork without any hitch or complaint, and they are so friendly! I refer anyone searching for a vet to this clinic, as it is clean, trustworthy, and run by exceptional humans! They offer walk-throughs for potential clients or owners at any given time of day, too, which means a lot to me! Its absolutely worth the half-hour drive to reach them!

Walnut Grove Animal Hospital is the greatest. The staff are wonderful and caring people. My dog Titus was on his death bed when I brought him in on that Thursday in May 2014. I didnt have a clue on what was wrong with him. Every staff member stopped what they were doing and worked on Titus. Dr. McWilliams is great. After some blood work the doctor said he has Addisons disease. The disease is not curable, but it is treatable. After they him Predisone he perked up a little. Titus had to spend the night. Eight oclock the next morning, I got a call from Dr. McWilliams and she said that he will be ok. Dr. Delong hadnt taken over the practice until the following week, I believe. However, Dr. Delong was there looking after Titus that night. I am so thankful and grateful for the doctors and the whole staff for saving Titus. We have been going to Walnut Grove Animal Hospital since Titus was 8 weeks old. When we got our second dog Pepper, there was no way we were going to change Vets. This is a very caring animal hospital. I highly recommend them.

The employees at this Animal Hospital are the best out there! I have several pets and all of them have made visits to this hospital. My last visit was with my Great Dane who had a large very irritated lump on his toe. I was greeted at the front with so much joy for both me and my pet and was taken right back to a room for Kingston to be checked out. Everyone was so helpful and answered all my questions. Kingston had to have surgery to remove the lump so Lisa at the front desk helped schedule his surgery for the next day. the day of surgery I was greeted the same way and Kingston was given some extra love to encourage him to the back. I was called with an update on his surgery and when he was awake. I was given clear directions with how to treat the patient when we returned home. I am so grateful for everyone at this office that helped with my little boy and I would never consider taking him anywhere else.
