Horrible experience yesterday and today. Our dog was attacked but the skin was damaged and she was well enough to move around and we checked her to see if there was any puncture and there was maybe one we werent too sure. Sadly we couldnt stitch all the damages so my mother decided to take her to the vet especially since it happened over night. Get there and they are constantly slapping us in the face about rabies and why she didnt get a rabies shot. Of course we are concerned but we just want her to get stitched up and have her feel better. Nurses acted weird and snippy with us but once the doc arrived he said himself it was just skin damage but to be safe they need to put tubes in her for drainage. The bill was understandably high and we were willing to pay but my mom didnt feel safe with her being there with the way they were acting especially when one of the techs grabbed one of the open wounds on the neck and almost strangled the dog when she was getting shots. They kept us updated on the dog and said they were gonna keep her over night but my mom didnt feel safe still aND insisted to take her but they said she would be fine and in better care. Next day my mom gets a call and find out that our dog had died over night and they dont understand what happened since she looked fine. So she goes to their office to pick up the dog and they tell her they did her a favor of knocking the bill down since the dog died. Do us a favor next time and listen to us or at least keep our dog alive so we dont have to give our dog a proper burial especially when we were told everything is fine. And to tell us you did us a favor is extremely disrespectful when you didnt treat our dog correctly. To others out there, please go to another hospital Ive never had such an awful experience and to have our dog die there all alone is so upsetting and Im so full of anger and sadness.

Awful experience! If you come here they are only going to milk you for your money. My dog wasnt feeling well but "alert" as the vet said himself and they immediately jumped to $160 blood work for pancreatitis and assured me that that would be the way to diagnose it. After the test was done and he was explaining to me that there is a suspicion of pancreatitis he goes but we wont know unless we run an additional test and that $37, seriously?!? I asked him why we didnt do that test first and he gave me the BS of well, they go hand in hand with each other, BULL! my sister in law works as a vet tech at Suwanee Animal Hospital and she said they couldve done the cheaper one to know and then done blood work if they thought there was a greater risk. When I asked him what the treatment was he slapped on another $60, um, no! I only went to this vet because I lived close and there wasnt any appointments at their original vets office until tomorrow but I have learned my lesson! And when I told him no I dont want to do any treatment as of right now because I wanted a second opinion he goes " okay, well, pancreatitis isnt something to joke about and your dog will die if you dont do anything about it". Seriously?! Thanks for the judgement, you have NO idea how much money I have spent on these dogs to make sure their lives are healthy. I will do treatment but not with YOU. DO NOT go here, they will nickel and dime you to death!

...Amazing place...I live an hour away and I dont mind to spend time in car to drive over there, because I know that my animals are in best professional, loving, caring hands...I also had to use once emergency service on Sunday and I had great fast respond.... My dog had same day surgery witch safe my dogs life....All employers are super friendly and they treat you and your pet like their own family. All of them they have bunch of animals at home on their own...what tells me that this clinic is not here just for business and make money ,but they are animals lovers and they are here to help .....Prices are very, very low compare to other places. I been in USA for 15 years ...living in Buckhead and exactly 15 years I go to this clinic and few of my other friends as well ...There is NO way Im changing them no matter how far I live...My animals means a lot to me and they deserve the best .....Hoschton Animal Hospital has best doctors and best team in Georgia ...

Dr Chapman is the single best doctor I ever met. This is not your regular vet, he is on the cutting edge and can start where ordinary vets give up and do palliative care only. His assistant, Heath, deserves a special mention too for patiently putting up with a hypochondriac pet parent :) I went in wanting the Medivet stem cell treatment for my old dog. Dr Chapman recommended seeing if he responded to platelet rich plasma first as the effects are similar but shorter acting. It is also about a tenth of the price. They took good care of my big whiny baby, Dr Chapman is able to think on his feet and consider new ideas. You would think most doctors could do this but often they cant. My only issue with Hoschton Animal Clinic is that it is so far away from where I live that I often have to use a place that although excellent by most standards, is looking a bit shabby compared to Hoschton. The folks at Hoschton Animal Hospital are amazing. Not only do they have the technical expertise to care for your furry friends but they truly care about them too. Theyll even board a sick pet to help give them medicine for their treatment (had to go out of town and we couldnt get a sitter to administer bunny medicine) - The cost is very reasonable (at least for Rabbits, YMMV with other pets). We even received a condolences card when they learned Mr. Buns passed away (in his sleep, peacefully at home). These folks really care, and theyre top notch in their knowledge of "regular" pets and "exotics" :)

We have been with Hoschton Animal Hospital for years. All of the staff at the hospital is genuinely concerned about your pets welfare and they arent pushy. But at the same time, they have done things for us that go beyond the standard service. Weve had emergencies and theyve made themselves available to help. We had concerns which they helped us with. But most important is the care and loving attention they give our pets (5 dogs). We would recommend Hoschton Animal Hospital for good care and maintenance.

Hands down, one of the very best places to take your pets for care. I brought my beloved Sadie, a 15-year old mix breed, here yesterday. Unfortunately, I had to make the decision to let her go, due to her declining health and quality of life. Dr. Roberts and staff took time to explain everything and went above and beyond to help Sadie in her final moments. Very loving and compassionate folks, they have gained a loyal client. Thank you guys so much for all you did!
