Ive used Banfield for a couple of years for one of my dogs, and Im adding our other one now that weve moved to this state, because the Banfield hospitals have always provided good care and been consistent about calling me to schedule appointments and following up afterwards. At this location, the vet tech was great with my dogs and the vet there was paying attention. The receiptionists were friendly and helpful, and I dont understand what the reviewer in September had a problem with, but the wellness plans are not a fraud. You get what you pay for, and on the plan if you have to take your dog in to get them checked because you think they might be not feeling well, the visit is free. You also get a discount on the meds based on what plan, so you can actually save money on what you would pay at a typical vet hospital and get everything covered up front, or split into monthly installments, and have everything including teeth cleaning covered. I dont have to go through the hassle of finding a qualified vet because this one is obviously going to work very well, and I can get my dog food, etc. while Im there.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any Vet. First I schedule an appointment the week before and they never did. So I showed up on time and they told me that they never booked the appointment I requested over the phone. Then I showed them that I had called last week on my phone and still they told me I was going to have to wait two hours before they could see me. Following that I had a coupon for my first visit and they didnt put it on my ticket and I paid for it without noticing. A few minutes after I noticed I got charged when I told them I had a coupon and they told me that they couldnt refund it. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO GO TO! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. They were not helpful at all and cost me more time and money that I could have saved somewhere else. Absolutely the worst and no one even said sorry for the mistake. I regret even coming back after waiting for the appointment.

The vet met with me for about 5 minutes, then left the veterinary assistant to deal with me the rest of the time...the veterinary assistant who dropped the pet carrier WITH MY CAT IN IT!!!!!!! From what I understand from another vet, they basically diagnosed, treated, and shoved us out the door, even tho my cat is drastically ill. In the 2.5 hours I was there, I did not see another cat, but the dog owners seemed to get great treatment. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAT THERE! When I called to get the records for the exams and treatments, I was told they couldnt email them, they could only fax them but they would be sent right away. Two hours later, no records. I was also told at the visit, that any Banfield Hospital could access the records, NOT TRUE...or at least that is what I was told at a different location, when I tried to make an appointment to board my sick cat, while I go out of town for a family emergency.

Just another corporation pretending to care. We had a sick dog that we could not afford to sustain. No care, concern, or understanding of our situation from these people. We had to use an outside vet to guide us through what remained of our beloved pets life. That was expensive enough on top of paying Banfield for essentially nothing but trying to get as much money from us as possible and making us feel guilty for not having it. 13+ years weve been customers for 3 pets. Perhaps my expectations are too lofty, but I never even received a follow up call from them regarding our pets health. They want you to believe the Wellness Plans are worth the money, but call around to local vets who will tell you how this is not cost effective.

Ive been a Banfield customer for several years. My pet has been seen all over the country at different locations. But is location is by far my least favorite. Which is a shame because it is so close to home. Tried to make an appointment. Got put on hold while they were transferring my records, and a different person picked up. Couldnt find my records. Seriously? And it seems that they only do in house appointments, aka drop your pet off and pick them up. Which is fine for routine non-emergency issues. But for emergencies, not ok for when I had to take my pet in. Save yourself the trouble. Just got to the Norcross location. Vastly better than this location.

Banfield Hospital on LaVista genuinely provided the best veterinary service for my 13 year old Shih Tzu I have ever experienced. My Shih Tzu was attacked by a much larger dog, and the staff at Banfield could not have possibly been anymore compassionate, caring, professional, and informative. Dr. Adil, Angela, Charnice, and the rest of the staff were beyond wonderful. They treated our dog as if he were their own and eased our troubled minds. The current 2.8 rating on Google resembles nothing like what we experienced as a family. I cant possibly recommend this establishment more.

The office manager provides poor service. The wellness plan is a fraud. They are not concern about the health and wellness of your pet. They do not provide adequate medical care--my pet died a few days after the office visit. They will sugest many tests that are costly and do not provide and results from the tests that could help the problem of the pet. They were not able to explain the tests result clearly. I wished I had checked the other bad reviews before bringing my pet to this place. Please do not take your pet to Banfield, The Pet Hospital.

I could not have asked for a more caring staff at this location. Dr. Adil is an incredible vet. He went above and beyond to discuss my babys procedure and delivered the news that her biopsy was abnormal meaning she had cancer. He was kind and thorough and followed up every single phone call. He made sure my Lillie Grace had her referral sent to UGA on a weekend. I was so blessed to have him as Lillies doctor. Angela at reception is also extremely kind and caring. This location will be my Banfield of choice for any future vet visits.

So far, the best banfield Ive been to in recent memory. Dr. Hotep was EXTREMELY detailed with me in what was going on with my little guy. The assistant Karah was also extremely nice. I originally went to the midtown location (only because I needed an immediate appointment and tucker was full at that time), but Im happy to have this location care for my furbaby.

I waited 30 minutes before I was able to check in for my appointment and then I waited another 30 in the exam room. I arrived at 4:00 and Im still here at 5:00 waiting to see the doctor. All Im getting for my dog are two routine shots. This is ridiculous. I dont recommend this location at all!!!

Angela the receptionist attitude very unprofessional, she makes the rest of the staff look bad, maybe she should work in the back so she doesnt have to communicate with the customers. I gave 2 stars because of her but the other staff members were very nice and seemly caring.
