On Saturday 1/31/2015 our baby girl Jewelz a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix was hit by a car. So naturally we rushed her to the vet to get checked out to make sure she was fine. When we arrived to the vet they took an x-ray to see if she had any broken bones. Thankfully she had no fractures but she did have some bruising to her underbelly. When we noticed the bruising we asked the vet if she had any internal injuries. When we asked the vet about internal bleeding he looked as though we were offending him by questioning his diagnostics. In any case he assured us that everything was ok and that she will only be uncomfortable for a while. They gave her a shot for the pain and some medication to go home with. They also kept her for an hour for observation then they released her to us. When we got home we tried to make Jewelz as comfortable as possible. We put her in the play pen with some cushions and blankets. We gave her water through a baby bottle and tried to feed her, her favorite treats. After a few hours of lying in the play pen she had a bowel movement that had traces of blood in it. A sign of internal injury. By the end of the night our baby girl Jewelz died. Jewelz has been a part of our family since 2009. Not once have we heard her cry in pain. She was a loved very well kept dog. The pain that our baby was in for the last hours of her life were unbearable. If the vet took the time to thoroughly examine her or suggest another facility where we could have taken her for better observation I feel as though she would still be here with us. And if they told us that there was nothing that could have been done to save her we would have had them humanely put her down instead of having her go through the pain that she went through during her final hours of life. After Jewelz passed on Monday 2/2/2015 I went back to the vet to let them know that she didnt make it and that I felt as though they were negligent in properly diagnosing my babys injuries. I asked for a refund of the bill that we paid on Saturday totaling a little over $277.00. The vet looked me in my eyes and told me he wouldnt refund me the total amount because that would be admitting guilt. He refunded me the cost of the medication. At that point I pulled my other dogs records and told them that I will no longer need their services. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare. But we will use it a learning experience. Take the time to investigate the hands you put the lives of your loved ones in.

I have been a customer at this establishment for the past twenty years and have always received the best of service, that is before the father Dr. James Waggoner retired. Once his son Gordon Waggoner took over the family business, it saddens me to say/write once this happened, the son has done nothing but price gouge service and hustle loyal customers - new and old!!! One of my bulldogs have a very bad skin allergy and last year she needed meds and I preferred a steroid shot over pills to combat the allergy that was making her so uncomfortable. Gordon Waggoner initial quoted a lower price, but when I said I wanted the shot over the pills, he than quoted a higher price for the shot. Just yesterday day her allergy returned and I took her in for the same shot and the price was $43.00 more than last year - I understand prices increase, but $43.00 is a bit much. The other problem I have with his price gouging is that I could hear them discussing what to charge me from the back room. I hate being hustled by anyone, especially for the sake of my beloved pets. I also remember him trying to negotiate a price for a prescription I said I was going to get from PetMeds because they were much lower and the price he then quoted me was still much higher, so I had him write the prescription so I could order from PedMeds. After yesterdays fiasco, I will no longer be taking my babies to this vet after 20 years of service and several pets that have passed on. I truly miss Dr. James Waggoner and his son has turned the family business into a money making business to fill his pockets for the sake of price gouging his loyal customers. So people please beware of Gordon Waggoners schemes for the sake of your beloved pets, its all about the money for the sake of taking care of your beloved pets, and he knows well pay....

This wonderful hospital has been taking of my baby since she first chose me at 8 weeks old; she is now 7 years old. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that my sweet baby is getting the BEST care "huMANIMALLY" possible! Although my "Wednesday" typically prefers to see Dr. Howard (yes, shes SPOILED), ALL the Doctors are GREAT. The moment we walk in, and she catches the scent of Ms. Bonnie, she immediately runs around the front counter to greet her with a super fast wagging tail and loads of jumping up and down offerings of loving kisses...sometimes I feel she wants Ms. Bonnie more than me! LOL Those kisses are always so pleasant because of Ms. Sams gentle and skillful hand during her oral check-ups and cleanings. Those cleanings are especially important to Wednesday mainly due to her "crush" on Mr. Jared who is always in receipt of kisses from forehead to chin. I dont quite understand where she gets her flirty ways.

My Ziggy (7wks old) needed his puppy shots so I took him to this clinic. This was truly a wonderful experience. It was not what I expected: it was a clean and very friendly environment. The staff was very professional and seemed very passionate about their jobs. Melanie was the assistant for Ziggy-omg, I thought Ziggy had fallen in love as he was kissing all over her just giving all my kisses to Melanie:-). She was great with him; she was very knowledgeable, warm, genuine and caring! I am so very happy with this clinic and am recommending it already to neighbors and others. Ziggy is happy with this clinic, assistant and doctor and I am PLEASED! Oh and did I mentioned how reasonable they are...they are very reasonable. Thanks to the Staff for making this such a pleasant experience for my baby.

Probably the nicest vet Ive gone to (not counting an insanely overpriced "premium" pet hospital I once used, which essentially had a concierge pandering to your every need, including the unreasonable ones that goofy "pet parents" somehow invent). When I called to tell them I would not make it before they closed because of traffic, Stockbridge Veterinary actually told me to go ahead and come in a side door they kept unlocked. They have on other occasions worked to meet my needs in unusual ways. They are also great with pets, of course.

I am 34 years old, my family has been bringing our animals here for more than a generation. Mike went to our church and he is the main man here. We have always received excellent service, care and compassion when we had to say goodbye. I fully recommend bringing your pets here. I dont know how the prices rank because I never went anywhere else but they feel very fair to me just because I always leave feeling like I got what I paid for.....for me this is better than saving a few dollars. Thank you for reading my review!
