Stay far away from this place. This clinic rightfully deserves the title "Worse Veterinarian Clinlic in Stone Mountain". I have been to Atlanta Pet Care Center twice. Both experiences were horrible and frustrating. I can ignore a rude receptionist, but when it comes to the SAFELY and WELFARE of my animals, I cannot turn a cheek!! My first visit I brought my cat who had been refusing food for a few days. The Vet told me there was nothing wrong with my cat and I should look into going to a place that would help me with a payment plan. Two days later, I took my cat to Clairmont Animal Hospital and they did x-rays and an ultra sound on her. Turns out she had a Kidney blockage and if the vet at APCC had cared at all to further investigate my cats disinterest in food we could have saved her. My poor cat died shortly after. My second visit was yesterday, Saturday November 6, 2016. I had just arrived when I realized I had left my dogs vaccination records in my husbands car. I quickly jumped back in my car to retrieve them. I live in the condos right behind Jays Place.. anyone who knows this area knows that its a 1 to 2 minute drive from Atlanta Pet Care Center. I literally live less than half a mile away so I figured it wouldnt be a problem. It was 5:45 when called the front desk to let them know Ill be a little late and explained I live right down the street. The receptionist said she doesnt think it will be a problem but put me on hold to double check with the veterinarian. She came back and said I can come in MONDAY morning.... if this was a problem that could wait til Monday, dont you think I would have waited till then? My dog has a cut on her hook/ankle and I noticed the information wasnt going down. A simple look and precipitation of antibiotics would have only taken 10mins or less. Of course I had to find another Vet that actually cares about animals. I called Banfield in Lilburn off US78. My dog received excellent care at Banfield! Its a shame that I had to go to another city and county just to get good care for my dog. I should have never given Atlanta Pet Care Center a second chance. I refuse to ever look at this place again. They do not have my recommendation. Good luck to anyone who dares venture through their doors. The Vet/owner doesnt care about animals and only wants to make a quick buck.

BEWARE! Wish I could give them a 0 star. You could be paying for services not rendered. My husband took our two dogs to their routine weekly grooming and when they returned home, my parents immediately noticed that neither dog had been bathed or trimmed. One of our dogs still smelled which later the owner tried to blame on an existing ear infection. However, this was the first time in several weeks that Lillie came back still smelling after a bath and she has had this ear infection since going to this groomer. Also when Lillie starts to need a bath, her coat turns brown and she was still brown (shes normally white with slight light brown spots). So, we could clearly tell when she has not been bathed. Our other dogs paws were still dirty. Neither dogs had their hairs trimmed. As my husband was rushing off to work when he picked them up, he made mention to the clerk that they hadnt been cut (not noticing they were not bathed either) and he was told that she would inform the groomer for next time. There was no mention of bringing them back the next day. Once we spoke to the owner, she asked why we didnt call her the next day as she has a 24-hour policy (never mentioned to my husband). The owner then placed us on hold and came back on the line talking about not having medical records for one of the dogs and how our dog could be contagious. What does that have to do with us calling about being charged for services not rendered?!?! Needless to say, we provided these medical records from when they first started going there as they will not groom the dogs without their records. Oh and charged my husband $300 the first time they groomed Lillie for special medicated treatment! She still wanted to charge us on our next visit. After arguing with her about the dogs not being groomed and her insisting they were bathed, I informed her we would not be using her services anymore. Clearly, she doesnt value her customers business by trying to satisfy a dissatisfied customer. NEVER WILL WE BRING OUR DOGS HERE AGAIN!

If I could put NO stars I would!!! My dog has always been properly cleaned or groomed back home. I moved here and took her their because it was close. This place takes forever to do absolutely nothing you asked for, then have the nerve to up charge you when they havent even touched your pet!! I dont believe they even wash the animals!! I was charged almost $90 for a dipping service and my dog will not stop itching! I dont see any fleas but she itches so bad it makes you think she does. Plus every time she receives a cut the nick her! The first time was no problem. The second time Her hair was so puffed up when I bought her him I find feel it. But after a few days she had this HUGE SCAB on the back of her neck the second time. The third time I asked them to shave her they never shaved her until I got there to pick her up. I had to tell them I asked for a specific service and they bought her back after 10 still wrong. I check her from head to paw. The second time it was her paw bleeding as well as the scab on the back of her neck. The Third she will NOT STOP ITCHING ALSO SHE HAS SCABS AROUND HER POOPOO AND AT THE BOTTOM OF HER STOMACH!!! The WORST dog vet/grooming placeI have ever witnessed ever. Plus I dont think they hydrate them with water because she is always so thirsty when she comes home. The worse. I wouldnt suggest this place to an enemy. Careless. Neglectful. Dangerous. Over priced for the service and not skillful. Just awful. I should have known because even the lobby isnt even that appealing. It look like someone liked animals and just decided to go into business. When I go some place I expect superior service from skilled workers. The only complement is Im thankful my pets are alive.

I will never use this place again!!! I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years. I have two pets that receive all of their care here... shots, medical treatments, and weekly grooming. I was in a car accident and could not make the weekly appointment. I called around 9 in the morning to explain why my babies couldnt make and to see if we could resume with our weekly baths the following week. I was told by the receptionist that I would have to start all over with FULL PRICE. I asked if she could have the owner call me back to work something out. I was told the owner comes in at 1pm and she would have her call me back. I NEVER received a return call. I called back about 5pm. The owner would not take my call I was given a message that I would have to resume next week at FULL PRICE or come in and pay for this week WITHOUT my pets receiving their weekly bath. I then told the RECEPTIONIST that if I had the ability to come I would have simply brought my pets and not be calling for a resolution. Again, loyal customer over 2 years and this is the response I received! WOW!!! I am so disgusted with her lack of compassion and poor customer service!!! I understand this is her business, however, this was a situation where she could have worked things out to maintain a good client relationship. Money, money, money is all that matters with this owner/ establishment. My pets will never return here! She will not receive another dime of my hard earned money. Absolutely disgusting!!! I would give NO STARS but it wont allow me to post without.
