I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the hip recently and my doctor suggested physical therapy. I had a negative experience with a competitor last year with a different condition where physical therapy was also prescribed. I told my doctor I would try a different company but I did not know if I could ever trust another company that was part of a franchise again. I kept my expectations low but after several sessions I am grateful I decided to try Athletico in Bolingbrook. Michael Shay organized a very effective program for me and Amy Swain utilized a lot of her talent and expertise to show me how to get that program going in a very positive direction. I can already feel the difference, slight but better than I was - a program is only as good as a patients commitment to continue it each day. I am excited about everything I am learning about my body and how it moves and why it doesnt move the way I want it to. Athletico has sold me on the importance of nutrition and exercise which I did not take as seriously until I almost could not walk. I am totally optimistic about the end result and I realize it will take months to build up and heal a body that has been a couch potato for too many months. Im just so grateful to the staff at the Bolingbrook Athletico. It is clear they all are there because they want to help people. I would not describe it as a franchise at all. Its very personal, like a private clinic.

We recently had to take our 3 month old in to have and evaluation. we worked with a therapist named Amy who specializes with infants and babys, she was easy to understand and work with us so we understood what all the medical lingo meant. After we finished, checking out, scheduling and getting insurance information was super easy and stress free with the Help of the lady at the front desk named Kandice. I had both my little ones with me and she went above and beyond to help me get everything I needed to do, done while trying to wrangle the little ones! Thanks Amy and Kandice at the Bolingbrook location.

I have used their services and their physical therapists are very professional. The physical therapists interacted with my doctor and vice versa perfectly. I would go back to Athletico in a heartbeat!
