I went to Parker vet to get my dog treated for HEARTWORM, which will kill dogs if not treated. And about 9 months later when I had him tested at another vet, he came back positive FOUR different times. Yes I had him lab tested 4 times and every time he came back positive, I confronted the vet at Parker and e did a little "snap test" right in front of me and said it would take 6 minutes for results and told me my dog was heartworm free. Luckily I went somewhere else and had him treated properly but my dog could have died if I didnt get him tested elsewhere. Please get your dogs double tested if you go to Parker vet.

Both of the docs at Parker are very knowledgable. They have diagnosed and fixed our cats and dogs dozens of times. They do NOT have sophistocated imaging machines, etc. If they think thats what your pet needs, they will refer you. They are a country vets office, and as such, do very well. The price is very competitive with vets in neighboring towns, and they do provide excellent followup care. Including meds at little or no cost. Poor little "Buddy" is on his way to be fixed tomorrow morning. I have no doubt hell be fine, or he wouldnt be going. BIG +1 for the Parker vets.

Took two dogs to be put to sleep together. The fact that the veterinarian himself was cold wasnt helpful, but his complete failure to correctly perform the procedure was absolutely unacceptable. The first dog seized for three minutes, whimpering, after he incorrectly administered the shot. He literally took tissue with him as he blew the vein of the second dog, who took nearly ten minutes to pass. His associate was shocked at how he was acting and how terribly he did something so routine. Will be seeking legal action- DO NOT sacrifice your last few moments with you pet.

I have used Parker City multiple times, as well as my family after being referred to them by a family friend. They are kind and respectful and dont treat you poorly if you make a decision that doesnt follow "the norm". They wont lie or bullshit you and will try to push you in the right direction, but wont bully you. They may seem short and to the point, but thats just how they are.

The best vet Ive ever been too, the only downside is since they are a small vet office they have no machines to do any sort of testing (like X rays). But I still love this vet and will never take my animals anywhere else, unless Id have to get them Xrays of course. Im also always referring people here when they ask for good affordable vets!
