My pregnant daughter took her dog to "Vet" Lipscomb for skin irritations. He insisted on testing the dog for heartworms without my daughters consent. To suppress the dog the vet put his arm around her neck and strangled her to the point that the dogs eyes bulged from her head, she was trying to gasp for air and her tongue turned black. My daughter witnessed this in horror. Even though my daughter was extremely upset and crying, the reception was very rude to her. Her simple visit for skin irritations turned into a terribly upsetting experience for my daughter and her pet and he didnt even treat the dog for what she took her in for. Since this happened we have talked to many other people that have had bad experiences with this vet, some even lost their pets due to his negligence. If you love your pet I would advise staying away from this place.

Will I bring my dogs to this vet. The recepionist is so rude and so is the nurse, not to mention inappropiate with all of her tattoos and peircings showing. I also called one time after my dog had puppies because ones of the puppies wasnt nursing and was very cold and I asked if they had dog bottles and formula and the receptionist was once again rude and told me id be better off going someplace else (I told her it was an emergency and it was the closest place to my house) When I got there she never even said good luck or anything. When I got back home the puppy had died.

Just called this office to inquire about an appointment, the receptionist talked over me the entire time and was answering way more than what I even asked. Asked about cost of office visit and she went into how, they dont know how much it is if the doctor gives the dog medicine and so on and so forth, I didnt ask that. I asked the cost of an office visit. Not a pleasant phone experience, I am calling to ask questions, answer the question and that is all. Talk less, listen more.

The old female (doesnt deserve the title lady) at the front desk is so rude!! I dont understand why Dr. Lipscomb keeps her around!!! She is bad for business! Ill never go back there because of her!! She does not need to be working with the public... She needs to work in a dark corner where communication skills are not needed! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you like being talked down to and degraded. Dr. Lipscomb was nice and pleasant though.

We have used Dr Lipscomb for 9 years and he has always shown our dogs incredible care and attention. His receptionist/assistant jumps up and runs to hug and kiss our 14 year old golden retriever when he walks in the door. Great service, great price.

Ive taken two cats here for about 4 years now, and never had any problems. One cat has been fixed here, and the other cat has to come often for allergy shots. Very reasonably priced, very friendly doctor!
