I did not have a good experience here, and I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Upon my new patient visit, I had a conversation with the Dr. Dabbs about some preexisting conditions I had been diagnosed with. Come to find out, when I received the bill, the office had charged me an extra visit because of the conversation we had. Not to mention, he gave me an EKG without mentioning that it was an added expense (found that out later on the bill too). When I asked the office to explain the charge, Mr. Dabbs responded with a hand-written letter (misspelling the word physician, your kidding me right? No, Im not.) explaining to me that, at the time of a physical/checkup, is not the time to bring up preexisting diagnoses, or conditions. To my reply was, when is a good time to mention these things, if not during the new patient checkup? Isnt that the point of going in for a visit? And, after all, its called a check-up. After calling several times asking them to remove the charge, they refused. Having no other options, I was left paying a fee that I did not authorize, nor did I anticipate. Need I say, I will not be going back. If a doctor is petty enough to charge for discussing a condition of health with me on a check-up visit, then he/she is not a doctor that I want caring for my well-being. Regards,
