I love Veterinary Housecall Service and would recommend them to all pet owners I know. I have been using them for about 6 years now. I originally took my kitty to their clinic when I lived in Crofton. Then when I moved to Pasadena, I started using the housecall service so that I didnt have to take the cat for the car ride. One of the things that I love is that they always have a tech in the room with the doctor. You dont have to be the "bad guy" that holds your pet down while the doc gives shots or takes his temperature. They take care of everything. They are always so sweet and gentle with the animals. Last year, Dr. Golden came to our house to put down our chocolate lab who was almost 16 years old. The doctor was very respectful of the situation. It was so nice to not have to take our dying dog in to a vet to be put down. He got to be put to sleep at our home. Then the doctor took the body away with him. We picked up his ashes from the clinic a few days later. These guys are better than any vet that I have used. I wouldnt be paying housecall fees just for the heck of it if there were as good of a vet just down the road. I had to stick with these guys! Theyre great! Highly recommend.

We love Veterinary Housecall Services. Our entire family brings their pets here. From annual wellness exams and vaccinations to surgical and diagnostic care, your pet will receive the best personalized veterinary medical care at Veterinary Housecall Services. My appointments are always thorough, relaxed, and unrushed with lots of time for questions. We receive follow-up phone calls from the staff following visits to check on our animals, and often after hour phone calls from the vets to go over test results. We see Dr. Michael Golden, who we cannot say enough good things about. Dr. Golden is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and collaborative. We will never use another vet for our dogs, as I know how special Dr. Golden is and how lucky our dogs are to have him.

My dog and cat have been patients of Dr. Golden for years. We have always recieved wonderful care even for the most routine of visits. The house calls are amazing as well as the staff. It was just recently when I had to make that final decision about my beloved cat Precious. Dr. Cindy came to my home and made us feel at peace with our decision to let her go. She held our hands and touched our hearts with her comforting words. I have had many pets over the years and I have never found a group of veternarians more caring then these. I will forever sing your praises to everyone. Thank you!

We have been taking our dogs to VHS for over 20 years! Dr. Schmoll, started the practice and my husband, took his Samoyed Snowflake to her. He saw her compassion for his dog and the love she had for her work...that cemented our love for this practice. Dr.Mike bought the business and he along with the rest of the best, took care of our 2nd Samoyed, Katie. They gave her the best TLC ever....from her annual ck ups to the day she passed. Theres no one out there, that gives the way that team gives. Our new rescue Izzy, is now experiencing the TLC from the best!

I love this vet office! Dr. Golden spent over an hour with my dog and I on her first visit. He had carefully studied her medical records from former vets prior to her appointment. He was extremely thorough and knew more about her conditions than any other vet Ive taken her to, including specialists. The way he handled her was very sweet and gentle. I can tell he is a true animal lover. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Golden to everyone with a sick pet.

I love the people at VHSC. they are very professional and honest. They are gentle, kind and they take time in explaining the problem and the solution to get your pet back on the road to recovery, no matter what the problem is. Everything is explain clearly and if necessary they will write out what it is you need to do at home if there are steps you have to do. I highly recommend them. My boxer feels very comfortable during his visits.

My older setter can be taken care of in the comfort of her own hone and she adores Dr. Golden and Alex. I wish my own doctor was as responsive and thorough. Test results are exained to me as soon as they come in and treatment options are explained. I only wish I had found out about them sooner!

Dr Golden came to my sisters house on his day off, to examine her elderly and very sick dog, who was not a patient in his practice. Sadly, the dog had to be put to sleep.
