It seemed very unorganized and chaotic for a medical business. When we arrived the lady at the desk notified me that she would not be accepting my insurance. I had just spoken with her one hour prior to the appointment to confirm that their office did accept it and she assured me that they would. A simple phone call before my arrival to let me know it wouldnt be covered would have been nice! I had already pulled my child out of school and drove all the way there...Annoyed I took a seat and decided I would speak with the Endodontist before leaving. As we were sitting there, the next woman in line began yelling at the woman at the front desk, saying and I quote..."You could have called me before I got here! I mean I just pulled my son out of school, and now you are telling me this??!" Apparently I am not the only one frustrated with the lack of communication on their part!! A few minutes later the staff called us back into the office and a woman asked me why we were there. I briefed her about the purpose for our visit, and she looked completely puzzled! She asked me if I had any paperwork or referrals; all of which had already been emailed and retrieved by the front desk (I only know this because I confirmed with the front desk lady upon our arrival). Feeling frustrated I asked this staff member if she had reviewed my daughters chart, or any of the information prior to seating us. Of course she had not! I asked her if she checked her system for the information that she was requesting from me and of course she had not. She began searching for things on a computer in the area we were in, and she was unable to locate them. At this point I had, had enough. Between the chaos of dentists, doctors and patients running around, the atmosphere was stressful enough!! On top of that, this staff member was now telling me that she had no idea why I was there :( Very annoyed now, I told her that I would be leaving. I did not feel comfortable with the chaotic atmosphere and complete lack of organization within their office. She suggested that she search a different system for my daughters files, but at this point, I had seen enough. We left and found another office to perform the oral surgery that my daughter needed. When you are dealing with surgery of any kind, organization is critical! I would never visit this office again.

Billing and office personnel are terrible! I asked what is my cost at the initial visit and I was told everything was covered. Months later I received a bill for $60 for x-rays. I called to dispute this months later after taking time out of my lunch because they conveniently close when I get out of work. The lady who answered my call just says it was a charge for data service in January. I asked what is data service if I was there for an exam. After about 5 minutes on the phone, I figured out she was trying to say "date of service" which had nothing to do with why I called. I recognize and already know the one time I have been to the dentist this year. I told her I asked what my charges were on the original visit (numerous times during the call) and she asked me did I ask what my charges were before I left. WOW, great listener! My other previous attempt to reach them, I get out of work early around 1pm and call about my bill... VOICEMAIL. I leave a message stating I need someone to call me back because I wanted to resolve this that day, and I get a call THE NEXT DAY while I am at work and they call my house. I got so frustrated about my first visit and the whole experience I just said I will pay the bill. She promptly says "I will put a note in the system that you will send a check in the mail" and she just hung up. No any other questions or anything I can help with... NOTHING. VERY PROFESSIONAL. Inattentive and rudeness are the overarching adjectives to describe my dealing with Dental One in Frederick. Unfortunately, this GREATLY overshadowed the wonderful service provided from my hygienist. After reading all these reviews, it seems like there were MANY others who shared this same experience with rude personnel and poor service. I am looking for care elsewhere. My hygienist was great although my dentist Dr. Yasbin seemed to be over-booked and didnt spend the time I was used to at other dental offices Id been to in the past. I would not recommend this place, look elsewhere for sure!

Not going back. I scheduled an appointment thinking i would be getting a cleaning and check up, but i was told at my appointment it was just a check up no cleaning. Waited a bit of time for the dentist but was seen and left pretty happy with the service. I went back finally for a cleaning an some fillings and was very disappointed with the service. The dentist hit my nerve in my tooth, ouch, and then proceeded to finish. I go to check out to schedule the other appointment (filling on both sides, and didnt wanna be completely numb on both sides) and the bubbly lady at the counter said it would be $250. I thought that was insane for a filling and i knew my insurance was great and covered alot. So i asked why the price is so high and she said its from the "pulp caps." I proceeded to ask what a "pulp cap" is. She decscribed it and i was a deer in the headlights. I told her he didnt do it, or he didnt even mention to me what he was putting in my tooth. Pretty crappy when the front desk girl is able to tell you more about what the dentist did without knowing yourself. Anyway, i asked for a manager to call me. I came back to get the other side done, and was told everything was going good and no mention of any addition "pulp cap" or anything. Yet again i arrive at check out with the same bubbly lady (which by the way is absolutely fantastic!!). She proceeded to ask for $250 again, and it was dejavu all over again. He placed more things in my teeth without evening mentioning it. $500 i was told to owe for something i knew nothing about and didnt even know what was in my tooth. Needless to say i will notbe back.

I went to this place for my orthodontist and dentist. Both were horrible. The secreteries were extremely rude. And I went 3 times in a row for dentist appointments and they never cleaned my teeth. All the dentist did was look at my teeth and tell me I needed all this exspensive dental work done& asked me if I had good credit to finanace it. Theyd tell to I had to re-schedule another appointment for a cleaning, but when Id do that I would get the same thing. There was one instance where I was pulling out of my parking space and this car stop right behind me and blew its horn. It was the dentist!! He blocked me from getting out of my parking space to ask me if I grind my teeth. The orthodontist changed like every 8 months and they each wanted something new for my braces. I think the dentist purposely made me come back as many times so they could keep filling aditional claims with my insurance company for more money. Can you say scam???? I never once had a good experience here, so dont make the mistake I did byu choosing this place. I have since changed dentist to Rosemont Dental Dr. Asarki) this place is so much better. The staff and dentist were very polite to me. On my first appointment they examined, cleaned, and took x-rays of my teeth. They even inspected my jaw to make sure it was working right. I would highly recomend Rosemont Dental. Hope this review helps.
