Today I had a contact lens exam with Dr. Setrin. He knows all about the various contact lens materials and the state of the art in this industry. He answered all of my medical questions and explained everything I needed to know about how to safely wear contact lenses. He was a bit impatient with my request that he explain every little change he made to the phoropter, but he is absolutely the best, most thorough eye doctor Ive ever visited. Aspects of my visit besides the exam itself were also exemplary. The staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and courteous. They made the glaucoma-testing process bearable and answered all my questions without seeming overbearing. The store itself is bright and airy, neither too cold nor too warm, and in a shopping center convenient to the beltway, REI, Zips, and some good lunch places. However, all this comes at a price: my contact lens fitting and eye exam, without insurance, cost $170. Given the high standard of care Dr. Setrin and his staff offer, I would recommend this office to all.

Being new to the area I asked for recommendations at work. I now know why so many people recommended Professional Vision. Everyone there was incredibly nice an super helpful. I saw Dr. Barnstein and he was great. He explained everything in a helpful manner and made sure I understood everything and all my options. The rest of the staff was great as well. When I was picking out frames they were happy to help and give recommendations. Not only that, but their recommendations were genuine. They listened to me when I said a pair was more comfortable (and saw what frames I was leaning towards) and they gave me opinions what other frames I should also look at. Also since the price was right there on the models I know for a fact that they werent just trying to up-sell me.

Dr.Barnstein is the BEST!! He and his entire staff are super friendly and absolutely helpful in every way. Ive been to a handful of doctors for my vision before, and I can say with certainty that Dr. Barnstein is by far the most knowledgeable person in regards to vision I have ever met. Every time I come to his office, I am welcomed by name, and it feels very pleasant. He and his staff dont just deal with you as a patient for that day, but instead take continued care of you ensuring you are absolutely happy. I have told friends and family members about him and they have made him his primary doctor for vision related things as well. Overall, Dr. Barnstein and his staff at Professional Vision truly deserve a 5 star rating, and I couldnt be happier as a patient.

Dr. Setren was the first optometrist to offer me the option of monovision and I couldnt be more pleased. For the past 7 years, Ive worn these amazing contact lens and no longer have to worry about keeping reading glasses in every room in the house, in my purse, at my office, etc., etc. With the convenience of these lens, which I wear day and night, I really dont need to think about my vision - as it always just feels normal and natural. And, if Dr. Setrens expertise isnt enough, I find the office to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. I say this in all sincerity - this medical team is amazing and I actually enjoy telling others about it.

I like the doctors and the location of Professional Vision in Timonium but the customer service is below standard. I ordered a pair of glasses on rush service and then waited for the call that they could be picked up. Time went by and I got caught up in work. Finally, I called them and found out that the glasses had been in for 2 1/2 weeks. They made one call to the wrong number, (not the number I gave them) and then apparently threw up their hands and decided, not my problem. This makes me mad, youd think someone would have noticed the glasses gathering dust in the corner.

Super friendly and efficient, knowledgeable Staff made my visit pleasant and productive. Dr. Hollie Brannan answered my many questions. Both she, and her staff, performed a comprehensive eye exam. Their selection of frames are diverse and beautiful. Though I purchased a set of lovely glasses there, I did not feel pressured to buy from them. The person who did the fitting and assisted with selection is a highly talented individual ,who spent a lot of time finding the perfect pair for me. Vi

Dr Barnstein and the staff at Professional Vision are great to deal with. Very nice selection of designer frames, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Barnstein provides a thorough exam - explains everything clearly, friendly, professional. Vince, who is one of the opticians, is great to work with. He takes the time to make sure your glasses are fitted properly, and does a great job helping you select the perfect frame. I cant say enough good things about Professional Vision!

I could not think of going anywhere else! I have visited both the Carney Village and Timonium locations. The staff at both were incredibly helpful, professional and fun to be around. Dr. Branstein is great!! He could have very easily prescribed me another set of glasses, but instead suggested I wait until after my pregnancy to see if my eyesight was still bothering me. Honesty and friendliness gets you very, very far in my book. I would recommend Professional Vision in a heartbeat.

Dr. Barnstein And Dr. Setren and staff are true Professionals. Dr. Barnstein and staff make you feel like Family . His undivided attention makes you feel you are family and not apatient. His staff is well educated on fitting glasses and and making sure the frame you choose is best for your face. Not a day goes by w/o someone stopping me and asking where I got my OLIVER PEOPLES. I have been to the rest now I am With The BEST.Stop in and SEE WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN MISSING.

I had a fantastic customer service experience here. I worked with Samantha who was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and answered all of my questions in as much detail as I needed. I was purchasing progressive lenses for the first time and Samantha thoroughly explained the process. Everyone at this location does a great job. I feel welcome when I arrive for my appointment. You dont find excellent customer service like this that often. To the owners - a job well done.

Dr. Brannan has done a terrific job helping me to maintain my eye health. She took care of me when I ended up with an eye infection, and then has provided me with super continuing care since then with both purchasing glasses and contacts. The office staff is always super friendly and helps to make sure that I am able to get the maximum discounts and savings through my insurance and other deals. I wont be going anywhere else for my eye care!

I broke my glasses so I called for an appointment on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me right in that morning. I usually go to a place at the mall but i will come here from now on. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when choosing my new frames. The doctor i saw, Dr. Andreaggi, was very kind, extremely professional, and thorough. I love my new glasses and contacts and highly recommend this practice!
