I havent had to see him very much as I just switched over to Dr. Giorgetti as my primary care. When I first came in, the doctor was dealing with someone who was behaving very irrational and having an emotional outburst. Him and his staff remained calm and professional the whole time. They didnt immediately blow him off and call security or police. They let him flip out and continued to deal with him calmly until he accepted the answer and left on his own. It looked like opiate addiction pill seeking from what I could gather, and the doctor refused to give him another bottle of oxycontin and would only give him a different type of pain management. Its a touchy subject, and I was impressed and how the staff treated him with dignity and respect anyways. I know that having someone display desperate and irrational behavior had to make the staff at least a little nervous, but it didnt show when they were dealing with me. His initial intake was a fairly quick but thorough examination on my body and did a pap smear. My husband and I were in two separate rooms, each with one of our kids. He had the kids leave the room and had one of his nurses entertain them when he did more personal parts of the exam. That was nice, most doctors will not play babysitter. He focused on physical functioning of my body and getting a baseline record for when I come in in the future with something wrong. He filled my birth control and atavan perscription without a problem. The whole thing took maybe 45 minutes. They have the refills already called into the pharmacy before I have to call and request it from them. Ive never had an office make things that simple for me! They called me a few weeks later to let me know my bloodwork and pap came back good, most offices I know only call with bad news. This office called promptly with all news, giving me the impression that they will be keeping me involved with all processes in my care of my body. My husband has neglected to dio the fasting bloodwork, so they sent another copy of similar, but less effective tests he can get done non-fasting, which shows they understand schedules get hectic and will work with what works for you to get you the care you need. They have the most range of hours, open 7 days a week, walk-ins are accommodated, lab and pharmacy are on site. How much easier could they make medical care? Im very pleased with this office right now.

Instead of calling you because they havent seen you in a while, they wont refill a prescription youve been on for years, or reduce it from 90 to 30 days to get your attention. Of course you find this out when you call the pharmacy. Ive been a patient here for over 18 years and believe I was just dropped from them because I complained. And they know I live in a very limited income. Always about the buck where ever you go.
