Our 13 year old cat had been sick and I had been trying to nurse him back to health but today we decided that we had to let him go before he started suffering. We had a bad experience at a Maple Grove animal hospital with our other cat, and vowed to never go back. The Animal Wellness Center is nice, but may appeal more to the affluent and New Age afflicted. They didnt advertise the service we needed on their site. We considered an in-home service which was very appealing, but somewhat more expensive and perhaps only available at certain times. Heritage only has one review at the moment and I dont know why. The web site is friendly and well done. The photos of the Vets and staff seem cheerful and pro-animal which of course they should be. Their facility is nice and what I would consider average for such places. To make a long story short, they allowed us to make a same-day appointment. Then they took care of our needs and those of our cat by facilitating a calm, caring transition for him. We felt the cost for the service was very reasonable. Based on our experience we can recommend them and will be using them in again in the future if we need to.

My greyhound hurt his foot pretty badly at a dog park and the nearest vet was Heritage Animal Hospital. I gave them a call of desperation and asked if they could squeeze him in. The lady who took the phone call was incredibly nice and said, sure, bring him on in. Upon arrival, they had a room with clean towels on the floor set up for my dog and I cant even begin to tell you how nice these people were to me and my dog! The vet even asked me if I wanted a glass of water while I waited seeing as I had just come from the dog park. They stitched up my dogs foot and took great care of him. Everybody was super friendly and they even have a sweet little resident dog that lives at the clinic named Jack who does tricks for Cheerios. I liked this place so much, I am seriously considering making them my full-time vet clinic and I live in St. Paul... they would be so worth the drive out to Maple Grove for regular appointments! I cant thank them enough for taking my dog in on a moments notice and treating him and me so kindly. Ill never forget it!

My bulldogs, Angus and Phebe, love going to the vet because of the wonderful, highly talented and caring people at Heritage Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are clearly focused on providing the best for the pets (and pet owners) in their care. They are thorough in their examinations, generous in their time and are happy to answer whatever questions pet owners may have. They are all obvious pet lovers and that love is evident in the care they provide. Whenever we arrive at the clinic Angus and Phebe react like they are being reunited with old friends. They seem to exude trust in the doctors and staff who tend to them. Its a great place - I trust them explicitly with my dear pups.

My wife and I have used Heritage over the past 12 years for our dog. During these past years Dr. Silverstein and his staff have wonderful to work work with. They have always taken great care of our pets. This past March when we had to put our Sammy down the staff there and Dr. Silverstein were incredibly supportive and understanding. 3 months later when we got (Lilly) our new dog they we wonderful and exited to work with us and our pet again. We are very luck to have such a great vet to work with!!

Completely delighted! They have been the best care for our pets! We switched from another vet to Heritage based on a recommendation and were delighted! 5 Stars for sure! Specifically, they care, fully discuss issues and options, let us decide and they dont try to upsell. And as fellow pet owners, they were so gracious and understanding when we recently lost one of our pets to old age. I noticed that all the ratings are 5 stars - If there were 6 stars then this would be a 6 star rating!

Weve seen both Dr. Silverstein and Dr. Hartman for our kitties and they have been phenomenal each time. Both doctors, and all of the vet techs weve met, are incredibly friendly, detailed and honest. We trust what theyre saying and have seen wonderful results! Our family is happy to make a little bit of a longer drive to ensure were getting the quality care Heritage has provided to us. Highly recommend!

Dr. Silverstein is a phenomenal caregiver. He is a gifted communicator and makes it easy to understand and be involve in your pets care When I lived in the area he and the staff were excellent in taking care of my cat while he dealt with a sarcoma. Although we eventually had to let our cat go, he and his staff were supportive and caring partners in our decision. Great place for pets!

These people are not helpful. I called ahead and spoke with someone and they gave me completely inaccurate information. Then I made the trip in and they told me something completely different to try and get me to pay another exam fee. Incompetent, unhelpful, and not trustworthy. Never coming here again and will never recommend.

Called to ask about euthanasia for my 14 year old dog. (Not a happy time) And perhaps a new vet for my future dog? However the person that answered the phone sounded annoyed that I have never been to this clinic before. Never did say sorry to hear that or was sympathetic in any way.

I just started coming to Heritage after being fed up with the impersonal attention that my cat was being given by our previous provider. Im really glad I did. I feel so much more welcome and cared for at Heritage than any other clinic. They truly care about their patients and it shows.

Great experience. Easy to get in and received thorough care and follow up. I didnt feel rushed during the appointment, and felt they did a wonderful job examining and treating my dog. I think the biggest thing is they genuinely seemed to care about my dogs health and well being.

My cat loves Dr. Silverstein! That may be because he is an indoor car and he doesnt get out much (just kidding), but he is great with him. I adopted him and this was the first place I came for an exam so we have continued to ever since. It was a good fit from the start.

After a day of playing in the park I had to bring my pup in. He was walking a little funny and seemed to have hurt his foot. We were able to get right in and I called on the way. It didnt take long to be seen by the doctor and to get him all bandaged up! Perfect!

At Heritage Animal Hospital they care for your pets as if they were their own. I cannot even tell you how helpful the staff there is, they always get back to me with any questions about my dog whenever I have them. Great place to take your pets!
