I took my dogs and cat to this clinic for many years. When I started to notice loss in appetite for my 18 year old chihuahua/begal I took him into this clinic. I was told hed be fine after some tests. Took him in a second time and was told hed be fine after more tests. Well my dog didnt look fine so I took him to an accredited veterinarian in St. Paul. Found out he had kidney diseases, a heart murmur, his body was eating his muscles and minor teeth problems. Well at this point it had been going on for years and years but was never caught by Oakwood pet clinic. I urge you not to go here. This doctor doesnt know more than the basics. She never suggested any test that my dog needed. Although we did spend about a grand with her in those two visits. My dog who did and still does mean a lot to me died. I feel because of the incompate so called doctor. If you have been here you know who Im talking about, the veterinarian who owns the clinic.

I highly recommend Oakwood Pet Clinic. All the Drs are fantastic as are the vet techs. I am currently taking care of a elder 14 year old large dog - Bowzers. He has vestibular disease that came on suddenly and the symptoms are scary. Dr Barb Arend saw him first. The care, advice and treatment thus far has made this time much easier, as difficult as it is. Dr. Clarissa Williamson came out to my house on a Friday night during the New Years holidays to give Bowzers treatment because I was unable to get him in the car. He was unable to walk. This is just above and beyond care. I just can’t say enough good things. We’re optimistic he’ll pull through. And I can have peace in knowing he is in good hands.

I have not been to this vet, however after speaking to them on the phone we might be switching vets. They were so extremely helpful with the questions that I had regarding my lab and so wiling to speak with me for several mins even though we are not customers of theirs. We might be customers of theirs now though. They were very nice, extremely helpful, gave me options, and did not rush me on the phone. Thank you for all your help and you will probably be seeing us in the future.

I have been taking my dog here for nearly 7 years. They have taken care of all his routine exams as well as more serious issues including removal of a non-cancerous lump. Time and time again, Oakwood pet clinic has delivered on every area from customer service to competitive pricing. I would not consider taking my dog anywhere else. Thank you so much Oakwood pet clinic, i love my dog very much and feel that when he is in your care you treat him like i would!

Dr. Williamson is the most passionate and caring vet ever. Weve been seeing her for over 15 years and now travel an hour just to see her. She knows all the animals and cares for each of them. Shes realistic about prices-- doesnt trick you into any vaccinations or medications your pet doesnt really need. Overall, a great place!

This used to be a great vet, but has gone downhill in the last year or so. I have been told that I would get a call back regarding a K9 flu shot since the boarding facility requires it, but a week later, nothing. When I call them, they have no idea what I am talking about. I am in the process of finding a new vet.

We have 2 dogs and a cat. All three see Dr Williams. She is absolutely the BEST. One of my dogs is very scared around people she doesnt know. She, and her entire staff are so gentle and caring with her! We live in the Fridley area, and wouldnt consider bringing our pets to see anyone else!

I dont remember the vets name, but Ive been going here for a few years for my two cats. The vet care is very professional and scheduling is convenient and quick. They are available to answer questions over the phone and take the time to make sure you know whats going on with your pet.

We absolutely LOVE Dr Williamson and her staff. Our dogs love going there. She is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about animals. Plus, the customer service is incredible. Dr Williamson always makes time to answer our questions, even over the phone. We wouldnt go anywhere else.

Dr. Williamson is superb! She immediately diagnosed our 12 year old lab with a rare disease and her compassionate and loving care gave us 7 more high quality months. She treats her patients like they were her own. We found our vet for future pets.

Oakwood Clinic and Dr. Willamson are the best! I have had many cats over the years of Showing Cats and she really knows her stuff. Some vets are really good with dogs but not cats SHE IS GREAT WITH BOTH! I highly recommend her and her staff!

Dr. Williamson and her staff are phenomenal. Ive had 3 dogs over the past 15 years and she has helped me with their care - one dog had multiple issues, but led a full and wonderful life thanks to Dr. Williamson. Shes great!
